I went with my family and we really liked the view in the etate stay and early morning breezy weather. The hospitality was up to the mark. Ashwin was really helpful in getting things done. Must try their chai with a view. They have a really good collection of flowers and good place for photography as well. A big thank's to kariappa and family. If you are looking for a perfect Coorg vacation home-stay look no further- and here is why. I stayed here for three perfect nights. First, the property is in Coorg's mystical forest-like plantation guest building on a stunning hillside. Mine was the third-level corner room with picture windows opening into the forest treeline view on two sides. It also had a surrounding balcony wrapping the room that hung over the plantation tree lines. You get the feel of living amidst a tree house in a forest. At nights- I closed only the balcony screen door- and slept amidst the buzzing sounds of the night forest from a comfy bed. More amazing was the impeccable service and hospitality of manager/owner Mr. Ginasuddin, his team, and his staff. Mr. Ginasuddin is very helpful person. I am traveling to India for a few weeks. Once I contracted the property and ask for what to do and how. He offered help. It started from pickup to drop-off from Bangalore right after my Friday afternoon meeting from DSI for the three-day getaway. Mr. Rasheed drove me around all the Coorg sites non-stop. For the Naghorhole Tiger Camp visit, he came and picked me up at 4:30 a.m. and drove me through the forests for a 7:30 a.m. tiger safari. He is a master driver with deep knowledge of the area and attractions- and, more importantly, the mountain roads that has blind sharp turns in every few hundred meters. The property served a fresh buffet breakfast. Dinners were made to order from the menu. All are reasonably priced. One day, I picked up irresistible local fern vegetables (see picture) from a local village seller. The cook prepared it to perfection for dinner. This is a remarkable home-stay by all counts.

It was very close to a stream of water and the cottage was located in the middle of a plantation. You could hear lots of birds chirping and the pleasant sound of flowing water. It was completely secluded.

This place is no less than heaven and the owner in fact the whole family were so kind they make you feel like being at home. I still drool over the tasty home cooked meal. Would definitely recommend this place and will come back again. I had an amazing 2-day stay at Vasu Estate Stay in Coorg, Madikeri, specifically at Vasu House. Our family had a fantastic time, especially our kids who thoroughly enjoyed activities like fishing, birdwatching, and playing with the friendly cats on the property. Vasu, the host, was exceptionally kind, helpful, and friendly. He went out of his way to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. His family members were equally warm and welcoming. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious food prepared by Vasu's mother. Her dosa and idli were not just yummy but also incredibly tasty, making every meal a delightful experience
