Everything was great at this accommodation! In the second I stepped in, I knew I wanted to prolong my stay and I did so. The hosts were great, helpful and amazingly kind. The homemade food was delicious! The room was very clean and comfortable. Amazing balcony where you can see the sunrise. If I ever comeback to Munnar, I'd definitely come back here! I can say it's one of the best places I've been to, not only because of the accommodation itself but because of the hosts.

Set in Munnar in the Kerala Region, 8 km from Mattupetty Dam, Windermere Estate features a barbecue and views of the mountain. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. This is one of the most beautiful and kind places that I have ever stayed in. The food is delicious and nourishing and some of the best I’ve had in India, the surroundings are stunning (don’t miss out on the 4 o’clock walk with Ansel, an extremely knowledgable nature guide who obviously loves sharing what he knows). All the little extras - such as free chai in the afternoons and bonfire night - makes this place truly unique.

I had the feeling that we couldn't get any better, the room has a beautiful view of the tea plantations which can be seen from the front and also has a big window that allows to see the plantation when you are lying on the bed. It was beautiful coming back home and having the feeling to be away from the crowd. Lovely hearing the birds which often come to say hi. Amazing waking up in the morning and sitting at the front during subset time. We really like that they tried their best to accommodate us as much as possible. Food was great and breakfast included. We can't find anything to complain about, ten out of ten!!! Thank you very much!!

Tea Dale - All rooms with Tea Estate view is set in Munnar, 9 km from Mattupetty Dam. Anamudi Peak is 13 km away. The kindness of the owners. The cleanliness. The guided tour. I do recommend this homestay.
