Podere del Priorato is a charming farmhouse that has been completely renovated to offer modern rooms and apartments. It is 5 minutes' drive from the Orbetello Lagoon Nature Reserve. It was a great location to explore the area, parts of Tuscany and coastal towns. Then return to relax and sit by the pool. The staff were very helpful for recommendations and the local town had great restaurants and gelato. The breakfast buffet was incredible and on our last day when we had to collect our daughter early from Rome they made us breakfast very early.

Set on Monte Argentario in the Tuscan Maremma, this restored hunting lodge offers a summer outdoor pool and a garden. All elegant rooms come with air conditioning and an LCD TV. I was looking for a place to relax after touring Italian cities and hill towns. This was perfect. It was out of season so not much going on here. Guests at La Mortella have access to the fancy golf resort (via a short walking path) if you like that sort of thing. Drove to the Citadelle but it's been turned into condominiums so no public access.

Located in the countryside outside Orbetello, Ai Poggi is immersed in a 2-hectare garden with fruit and olive trees. Offering rooms and apartments, the property features free covered parking. The owners were very nice and even offered to pick me up from the train station

Set in the Tuscan countryside, Casale La Barca features a garden. Guests will find shops and restaurants in Albinia, a 10-minute drive away.

Offering free bikes, Agriturismo Grazia is a country-style property in Orbetello, 3 km from the Feniglia sandy beach. It features spacious rooms and apartments, a restaurant, and free private parking.... It was very authentic to the region of Maremma with the stables and training grounds for the horses near to the property. A traditional structure with spacious rooms (we had a suite), beautifully furnished in Tuscan style traditional furniture and views from every angle.
