Large breakfast room, common room and pool area. 2 fireplaces for cold days but it was 29 degrees during our visit so the AC was more important. Beautiful night sky and a rooster in the morning! Nice breakfast prepared by the housekeeper.

Cerdeira - Home for Creativity houses an arts and crafts school, is hidden in Serra da Lousã and offers traditional units built in schist surrounded by an undulating landscape. Underbart boende i en traditionell shist-by med otrolig utsikt och trevlig personal. Väldigt god frukost med ägg från egna höns och världens godaste vatten som man kan hämta ur byns källa.

Quinta da Alma Cheia ligger i en byggnad från tidigt 1900-tal med fruktträdgårdar, vingårdar och ängar. Här finns 4 granithus med öppen planlösning, utspridda över 120 hektar. Very nice place "in the middle of nowhere" where you feel history in every stone around and in walls.. Our staying was surprising and magic on the same time ! If you wish for few days totally free your mind and get plenty of fresh air -- it's exactly what you need ! Not surprised that some people stayed for longer once being in place ;-)) everything was just fine ! As well we all appreciated "local food" breakfast giving feeling to be at home. And we also did not hesitate to try a "local dinner" (you need to do your reservation ahead, because all the food is prepared and cooked locally the same day and on-demand only) -- and this was a true pleasure !!! So glad we stayed there ! One of the best memories about our vacations in Portugal !

Casas do Regato owes its name to the stream crossing the 19th-century property. Beautiful place, quite and relaxing. Facilities are of high level. Great swimming pool.

They shown me how to use the coffee machine and they even helped me with my laundry. A real nice place to stay. I would come here again if I’m ever in the area.
