Busy central area. Was quite easy to find our way around. Had to park our car a mile away from our hotel as first green, free parking, area around us. Not great to then have to carry bags back to the hotel.
Too cold and windy to go on the beach, but I think it would be lovely to go there when the weather is sunny. We were only there for 24 hours but would like to return to see more of the area.

Ostend is fine for a couple of nights.
Ostend is fine for a couple of nights. Some good bar/restaurants where we had excellent steak. Good selection of great Belgian beers too. Ostend is only a half hour from Bruges (even quicker by train), so can be used a a base to explore Flanders. It's also only an hour or so from Calais (and on a good road) so easy to get to.

Ostend was very attractive.
Ostend was very attractive. There are lots of big green parks to wander through, and a huge sandy beach with a big promenade. There are lots of bars and cafes, and also some attractive old parts of town where Paris-style balconied apartments can be viewed. There are buses and trams in town, and the train takes only 11 minutes to get to Bruges for day trips.

I visited ManiFiesta, an annual festival of solidarity at the Wellington horse track. It takes place in early September and it's a wonderful opportunity to see live music and dance, but also for debates, films and to meet like-minded people from all over Europe. I met trade unionists from all across the world, amazing. So nice that you can visit the festival and also enjoy the beach and the city of Ostend.

We had a great stay at the Princess Hotel and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. Check-in was smooth and efficient and our room was much bigger than I was expecting including the bathroom which even came with a bath. The hotel is a minute's walk from the beach and about a fifteen minute walk from the train station. We found it very convenient for the main shopping area of Ostend. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from including non-dairy options.
Very nice compact room with everything you need for a short holiday or a business trip. well-equipped kitchen and good quality fridge. Good quality bed and sofabed. close to the nightlife of Ostend but not so close you would hear it. The hotel is within spitting distance of the beach.
The communication with the Hotel was very good and friendly and the room was also spotless.
The location is very practical to go to the beach and city center. Parking is just around the corner of the hotel (Parking Indigo Oostende Zeedijk). Though the parking cost 24.60 Euro per day but it is the same expensive everywhere in Ostend anyway. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The online check-in/out is very simple and fast.
Our room was amazing and the mattresses were the most comfortable I have ever had in a hotel. The bathroom was also nice and big. The hotel itself was awesome with lots of things to do during a rainy day. The breakfasts were out of this world and the staff really so friendly. We always stay at Upstairs when we come to Oostende!
The apartament were comfortable on the ground floor. Also very well located in middle of Oostende close to tram stop and bus stop. The sea front at Oostende is a 10 minutes walk & a lot of shop and supermarket near by. Easy check in & the housekeeping was very helpful, the owner was very nice.
In general, it wasn't bad stay - but for 4 stars hotel you except more, especially that I faced some difficulties during my stay.
What I like is generally the hotel location, breakfast was great (but no hot meals except eggs) and cleanliness of room. Hotel was quiet so I can rest after work.
Very clean and modern apartment. The kitchen and the kitchen equipment seemed new and very well sorted. The bathroom very clean and modern, including a rainshowerhead.
We slept soo comfortable.
We can highly recommend this apartment. In the centre of Oostende, just a few meter to the beach.
The apartment was clean and well-fitted. By far the best-equipped kitchen we have experienced in a rental property. The location by the beach and view of the sea from the two balconies was wonderful. Public transport via free ferry or paid tram to Oostende centre was good.
Very nice little apartment near the sailing clubs of Oostende.
Theme of the decoration is the sea, which matches.
Friendly, welcoming, with all that we needed.
Possible to park in front or very close to the place.
Fun for couple with kids.
Really nice hotel. The rooms are confortable. The wellness is a wonderfull surprise. The quality of the breakfast (with the view on the beach) is amazing. The staff is very simpatic and enthousiast.
Very well located, near to nice restaurants and there’s a parking lot just next to the hotel where you can book in advance, which is recommended in busy days.
Breakfast was excellent.
The hotel is good and the staff very friendly, the location is very good, since it´s in the middle of the city and very close to the beach, a lot of good restaurants nearby.
Very cosy room in a quiet neighbourhood.
Reception by Annemie was very warm and breakfast was top!
Beach is close and less crowded than Oostende beach.
