The location is perfect. The scenery is so beautiful. The staff is incredibly warm and helpful. They make you feel like you’re at home. The hotel and facilities are lovely.

Service at the Pullman Lijiang was fantastic! Emily at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! She checked on us throughout our stay making sure we had even we needed and even inquiring if we needed breakfast delivered to our room. She even put together a safe trip package for us when we were leaving to go home which included a mask, antibacterial wipes etc. We would without a doubt stay there again. This was our first time at a Pullman Hotel but definitely will not be our last!

The design of the room was so stylish and practical, bed super comfortable, shower great, sofa/desk - wow great design. And room was super clean. Staff was also incredibly kind and helpful especially when I stupidly lost my room key in a matter of hours of receiving it ugh. Price of room was extremely reasonable too. After staying here, I plan to seek out this hotel brand in the future elsewhere - I was Very Impressed

The hostess went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. We had to get up very early in the morning and didn't really expect breakfast even though it's included in the booking. However, the hostess got up even earlier than us and prepared toast, coffee, and egg in the kitchen for everyone. What a lovely way to start our day!

In 20 years the lovely, quiet and quaint town of Lijiang has developed like no other, become a tourist magnet (seemingly mostly for Mainland Chinese tourists) and has almost completely lost its charm... unless you wake up early and walk in the deserted streets at sunrise (before 8am). From morning onward it is choking with tourists, even in low season (can't imagine high season !!), discos at night become restaurants during the day, and the whole place is just guesthouses, retail shops and restaurants. Even old ladies selling strawberries can't give change on 20 yuan and ask for payment by AliPay or WeChat Pay!!
Shuhe and Baisha are no better, victim of their "heritage" status that has completely destroyed the soul of those places.
Luckily, with electric cars and electric scooter the air is fairly pure and the sky still blue. It makes for nice photos, but forget originality. A very good example of a UNESCO Heritage site that has become a victim of its success... go and visit before it's even worse, but in low season please............

The staff were fantastic.
The staff were fantastic. In particular the manager Joye accommodated every request we made and did it with a smile and genuine sense of friendship.
We needed some complicated forward planning and both travel and accommodation reservations to be made. Mr Joye assigned a very nice, intelligent and competent young lady named Cassie who did an amazing job and we are now traveling again with all of her advice and recommendations proving to be excellent.
We would throughly recommend using this, and most of the staff speak English.

It was a nice ancient town to walk round and was very picturesque.
The good thing was that it was car free. Unfortunately the shops sell most of the same things. The places to visit around Lijiang were easy to visit by car.

Lijiang is a wonderful town.
Lijiang is a wonderful town. A great place to get a glimpse of China's past. The Local Naxi people are colourful and friendly. Beautiful sights all within walking distance of the Old Town. Highly recommended.
Great Yunnan traditional food in the Old Town at "Yun Xue Li" (Yunnan Snow Lijiang) - 云南省丽江市古城区七一街兴文巷95号
A great vegetarian buffet (at only 18RMB per person) in the new town is Auspicious Vegetarian Restaurant Building 6, Jinkai Plaza Complex Building, Gucheng district. This is about 10 minutes walk from the North gate of the Old town.

The Old Town is ok for a walk through, but it's really touristed. The original old town is still there, but it's not that will maintained. If you're going to higher altitude, use it as a stop over.
We liked everything very cozy place.Great place in Baisha village , after we visited Lijiang old town which is not nice at all we moved to Baisha with not much expectations and than magic happened. It is beautiful small village and Flamingo is probably the best place in Baisha. Highly recommended! Staff is also very nice and professional gave us a good advices for local and western food and some coffee shops. They gave us a small map as well
The place was hospitable from the start. Their original walking map of Lijiang Old Town was fantastic. It took me through wonderful spots, many away from the thronging tourist crowd. The floor heating and bed heating were unexpected. These would serve very well during the cold seasons. And, if you are into wines and local produce, they serve some delicious local wines, cheeses and ham. Went as a solo traveler, but never felt alone there.
A very good hotel, with a strong sense of room design, clean and hygienic, and beautiful courtyard scenery. You can take beautiful photos anytime, it's really amazing. The two-day itinerary recommended by the boss is extremely cost-effective and completely free from any setbacks. And the route arranged for us is also very reasonable, saving us a lot of time and energy.
The location is perfect for first time visitors to Lijiang. It’s very close to all the must see recommendations, such as Si Fang Jie, the Four Square Centre, and my favorite attraction- Mu Fu. The unit is just beautiful and very clean. They also provide a washing machine and dryer for their guests. The hosts are super friendly and helpful.
I liked the location, it was close to the railway station, the ancient town, and a good location for other activities in Lijiang. The room was spacious and pretty clean. The breakfast was a basic Chinese breakfast. The staff was kind, and had a couple English speakers. They helped me with booking bus tickets and cars around Lijiang.
This hotel makes us feel happy and friendly, drinking tea and chatting like old friends. Although the language is not clear, it affects our communication because they have a translation machine at home, which is very useful. By the way, I am very satisfied with the hotel's environment, hygiene, and location.
Great hotel right in the centre of the old Town. Staff were so welcoming and helped us with information of what to do in lijiang and bus times for our next trip. Breakfast very tasty, and 2 beautiful dogs! definitely would stay again, great value for money.
Location is fantastic, in the quiet part of the old town. The owner also is very helpful and definitely was a positive shaping force in our trip to Lijiang, helping us with tips and booking tours.
The two dogs are very kind and absolute fluffers.
It was covid period and I could not checkin in the hotel when I arrived. The staff immediately took me to a sister hotel, which was a walking distance. The hotel was also high quality facilities. Both hotels have prime location by the old town
Really nice location, right outside of old town. Can get a taxi here no problem but also can walk to old town. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Bathroom is small but functional. Washing machine available and no extra cost to use it.
Beautiful property in a great location inside the old town of Lijiang. Bed was extremely comfy, bathtub in the room was a plus and the views from the second floor were beautiful. Also the host is very friendly and helpful :)
The location is just in the center of the old town, near the Sifang street and Dashuiche. The host showed me a good viewing route as soon as I checked in. Also I like the room which decorated in China's old style.
The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. They helped to arrange for free airport pickup and were always looking for ways to give me information about local places to eat and how to enjoy my time in Lijiang.
Very nicely decorated hotel doe its price, at 10 minutes walking distance from the ancient city.. The lady working there can help with organising tours to the mountain or to the Tiger Leaping gorge.

The owner of the hotel is a very nice open-minded Chinese lady who speaks English very good. We felt like at home 🤗. We highly recommend this place and definitely would come back.
