The restaurant offered original dishes created by the in-house chef. We had the special of the week which was chicken in a delicious cognac and mustard cream sauce. There were also many other options to choose from including the house burger and french fries which looked very good too!CChristinaDenmark

Gilleleje is a historic fishing town also popular with visitors. Early May was dry and sunny but not warm. The town was pleasantly quiet, the summer season not yet underway. The hotel room was superb and the staff were always friendly and helpful. We don't speak Danish but that was never a problem.

The hotel is surrounded by danish summer houses with a lot of green. quiet and peaceful. Village of gilleleje is walking distance (1.5km) and beach close by.
