We didn't get to spend much time exploring but we thought the city of Benidorm was really fun. There were a lot of people out enjoying the restaurants and nightlife. The size of the city being right on the beach with the mountains in the background was very cool and created a real cinematic backdrop. The midcentury modern vibe was lovely. Wish we could have spent time relaxing at the beach but we weren't able to this trip.

Benidorm has something for everyone.
Benidorm has something for everyone. Two gorgeous sandy beaches, one on the busy Levante side and another on the quieter Poniente side. Inbetween is the charming old town with it's church and viewing point at the top and older streets and buildings. We enjoy a good walk along the seafront to the neighbouring resort of Cala de Finistrat and another walk around the Sierra Helada to Albie and Altea. There are plenty of places nearby for days out to other areas, Guadalest and the waterfalls at Algar.ValerieUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10
I was very reluctant on going to benidorm as we all hear...
I was very reluctant on going to benidorm as we all hear it's the place of people getting druk and going for stag/hen dos. I had a very goos surprised and I absolutely loved benidorm. You have a little bit of everything, young, middle age and elderly people on holiday here. You have all types of bars, quiet, live music, dance clubs you choose what you want. We had nights of live music and others more quiet. It is very easy to wlk whatever you want to go and there is also an excellent transport bus around the city, I found amazing that there is so many places that rent out mobility scooters and a lot of elderly around ridding them. The city itself is amazing with plenty of shops and places to walk around. We even hike a to the cross up the hill which was a fun experience. Absolutly loved it, recomend it and want to definetely go back!

Stayed in Benidorm with a group of girlfriends. Felt very safe. Walked home along the beach at 01:30. Police patrolling in cars. The whole area was being washed and the beach being cleaned. More to Benidorm than we expected, it is possible to avoid...
More to Benidorm than we expected, it is possible to avoid the loud and drunk tourists (surprise most of them weren’t British). Great value food and drink, Levante beach is superb and so well maintained. The old town and far end of Benidorm have great history, arts, food and wines

I live in Benidorm but has an issue with my apartment and he gave me the best room in the hours which on the 4th floor and on the corner and I think it’s 402. they are the dearer rooms but very nice and huge! immaculate and brand new interiors to the hotel, it’s been refurbished or rebuilt extremely recently. right in the heart of old town, cannot be more central, and the bed was so comfortable!

Full size fridge, coffee pod machine. Brilliant location just off the front at the start of old town. Full electronic codes for entry so no stress checking in and available on WhatsApp for any questions. 5 mins walk from heartbreak/daytons bars and 15 mins to marina hotel end of the new town. Best place we’ve stayed in Benidorm will definitely be back!
