POSITIVE: Good location if you want to spend time on the northern part of Mallorca. Nice town with a nice avenue next to the beach. Good restaurants with nice view or not so loud restaurants with cheaper prices in the other streets. Definitely family friendly. Nice area to run, on the beaches or in the green area next to the town - even it is forbidden. Nice shopping streets, but every shop sell the same Chinese made whatever :) The ice creams were very tasty. No issue with parking. NEGATIVE: What was really bad is the rubbish. it was everywhere on the streets. Not next to the sea, but in the other streets. The rubbish containers were always full, but there were no people at all to clean the streets. Very disappointed. People also cannot use the selective rubbish container, but maybe the are not locals.

I think being away from the madness of other resorts makes this place nice. It doesn't have crazy parties etc so you can come for 1 week, enjoy.the sun sea sand, a few drinks, some excursions like the Drach caves, then go home.

White sand beach, not the finest i've been but soft enough; Since it's a bay area, the sea is only tender for quite short time like 2h during the morning. Not really recommend for Non-swimmer. Water is still beautiful. So is the sunset with all the mountain view afar. Along the beach there're many restaurants, SPAR supermarket, Cafes.etc. Event managers may approach hot girls/boys on the beach inviting you to some nice party nights. Good side is it's convenient if you need anything from the beach. But if you're let's say "advanced" beach lover this part of Can Picafort may be touristic for you, and smaller rock side turquois-blue beach where the locals prefer might be the happier place for you rather than the long white sand beach. Getting around Can Picafort is easy and chill. It's also easy to go to Formentor for the landscape view - 40 euro by taxi. On the way to Formentor (or the way back) you could also drop by Alcudia town. In general, a little bit mediocre area - with almost everything you need if you're here to relax, not adventure.Lily.xChina - 10Scored 10

The 3km walk on the prominade was very present.
The 3km walk on the prominade was very present. You see the statues along the sea shore which look better at night. Many restaurants along the prominade and good shops further inland for the avid shopper. You might expect that the tree material washed up on the shore would be removed, alas not at this point in early May. And I am not a beach bunny. You can travel by bus to Alcudia and further afield where you tap your credit card going on and off the bus and is better than a fixed fare. An ok location for cycling.LoughlinIreland

I know the hotel is one of the oldest in the area but despite rooms being refurbished the air con is very weak and is on a central timer. When I arrived in Mallorca it was 35 degrees and even not much cooler at night so this made my sleep uncomfortable. I would stay again but possibly in low season when not so hot if this cannot be fixed (and I know there are energy saving laws in the Balearics which hinder things like this too).KevinUnited Kingdom

The building itself is magnificent. Staff, especially at dinner/breakfast were excellent. The food in the evening is a set, 3 course menu which changes daily. We found the food to be one of the highlights of this hotel. Breakfast was also superb - lots of choice and good coffee. They are always there for you, always smiling and always ready to help. I hope that you are doing everything you can to hold on to them. The hotel is located in a great location. It is really close to the beach, shops, restaurants and bus stop. The rooms are a little dated, but everything is functional. It was therefore very quiet but that was fine with us. A few cafes were open and they were great. The owner had clearly made an effort in welcoming us so absolutely no complaints on that.
