FAQs about hotels in Madrid

The Spanish Soul of Art and Entertainment

Modern Madrid is one of the greenest cities in Europe and the most popular destination in Spain. Whether you want to experience its legendary nightlife or a flamenco show, this is the place to be.

The renowned Museo del Prado holds one of the world’s finest art collections with iconic paintings by El Greco, Velázquez and Goya. For more modern touch, the Museo Reina Sofia houses Picasso’s and Dali’s most respected works.

Start your evening at Puerta del Sol, one of the city’s busiest spots. Make some room in your stomach for great tapas and sangria in La Latina district, south of the city’s most famous plaza, Plaza Mayor.

Real Madrid plays at Santiago Bernabeu and Atlético Madrid competes at Vicente Calderón Stadium, two opportunities that no sports fan will want to miss. The popular Salamanca district is a great place to look for boutique gifts and unique shops.

Thanks to great public transportation system, getting to the city centre from Madrid Barajas International Airport is very easy. Whether you’re looking for luxury hotels, budget hostels or comfy apartments, Booking.com has a perfect place for your Madrid holiday.

Busy, bustling & vibrant city with a mix of cutltures and heritage. Amazing architechture, history, parks and eateries. BIKE TOUR - Would highly recommend TIM bike tours - a great way to orientate with the city and learn facts not always found in the guide books. Suitable for most and great value for money. TAPAS - wonderful tapas can be found at La Taberna de Ramales. Choose cold tapas from inside, order hot from the waiting staff. Would highly recommend the cod, asparagus with bacon and patatas bravas. BUS TOUR - we had a family member with mobility issues so did the bus tour. Get the 48 hour option for just 5€ more. Can hop on/off all day, so whilst most places are walkable, it helps break things up. SHOPPING - from desinger shops to Primark, Madrid has it all if shopping is your thing. And there are plenty of El Corte Ingles to browse too. TRANSPORT - Easy to get from the airport - we got a taxi direct for 33€ though the metro, bus are cheaper - they take between 40-55 minutes. ACCOMMODATION -We stayed at Plaza Maylor apartments which we spotless and only 2 minutes from Plaza Mayor. FOOD MARKET - a must visit for any foodies. Great range of quality foodstuffs designed to eat on the go or back at base. Checkout the empanada (like mini pasties) stall.

The hotel is located at one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Madrid, Barrio de las letras. It is in the center of Madrid but is not loud at all and not that crowded. You have too many options like bars, supermarkets and beautiful alternative boutiques to shop. The owners of the hotel are so pleasant and helpful, they can give you any info you want about the city. The room is small, convenient, absolutely clean and with all the comforts you need. One of the best accommodation experiences that i would choose again for sure!

Friendly staff with excellent check-in. Hotel is smack in the middle of Spain and close to everything a tourist would want or need for a stay in Madrid. We had a room in the back on our first visit which although had no views, it was roomy and comfortable. When we returned a few weeks later, they upgraded us to a room in the front with a view. The front view room was a bit smaller but nice anyway. It’s a good mid sized hotel and breakfast was pretty crowded.

Exactly what we needed. It is an apartment style hotel, everything you need to feel at home, with an extra help. Close to everything, walking distance from Palacio Real, Plaza España, Gran Vía, etc… During my trip to Spain, I stayed here in two different occasion, my first and las week of the trip and the staff helped me all the step of the way. The room: beds are really comfy, shower is very nice! And breakfast is really a must. We were not sure about the location since we feared it was far from city centre but we then were very surprised how well connected is with city centre. The hotel is in residential area, quiet and away from the noise of city centre for good sleep but easily connected with metro to main stations, so we really recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madrid!

The apartment was clean and comfortable and had was well equipped with regards to the kitchen. the location was fairly good. In Madrid a lot of things are within walking distance so it’s about a 20 minute walk into the city centre. Uber’s are also relatively cheap so we either walked places or got an Uber. We checked-in at 11:30pm roughly and the process was very simple with clear instructions provided by the hotel.
