Room was lovely and quiet and away from main part of the hotel. Great for us with dogs who weren’t being constantly disturbed by guests passing the door.

Excellent breakfast, had dinner two nights- both excellent. Roomy, spotless ensuite room.
On one evening when the dining room was fully booked, the owner drove me into town and gave recommendations about restaurants. Terrific service. Staff were all friendly and helpful. I hope to use Ardennan House as a base for my regular visits to the area.

Really lovely stay with nice touches (e.g fresh milk for tea and coffee, robes and slippers).
Meals were excellent.

My sister lives nearby and I have been coming here for over 30 years. Its a lovely place and inb recent time it has expanded a lot. It not the place to come for fancy night life. You would come here for great scenery and a base to travel to local places of interest.
It has a Morrisons and a few other big ticket stores as well.

Good centre for visiting that area - stately homes, castles, scenery, coast, archaeology, history, cycling, walking, golf etc.
Reasonable restaurants, and pubs but poorly served by accommodation which is limited.
Not much to see in the town itself.

Arrived by train from Aberdeen and by using the very reliable taxi service was able to reach all destinations easily. Inverurie is also a walkable small town well served with supermarkets etc. While the main purpose of my visit was family-related, I took the opportunity to hike in Bannachie and was glad I made the effort.

Its difficult to say as I was not there on holiday. I was there for health reasons ( treatment). We did not spend much time in the locality as we were using the lodge as a base to get to and from treatment base.
We did eat both nights in the lodge and the evening food was good.

We stayed in Inverurie as we were going to a wedding at Logie Country House a few minutes up the road. It has a good selection of shops and places to eat. We went to Edward's pub, the Spice of Life Indian restaurant, and Italian restaurant, Roma. All serving great food. There is a riverside walk at the South end of the town. Overall a lovely clean area and the locals are friendly.
A very inexpensive place to stay along our route from Edinburgh to Edderton via the Aberdeen area. Goal was to have a bed in the area of our first Distillery tour and this served the purpose. Local town of Inverurie had some good restaurants and pubs and also grocery store. Hotel breakfast was good. Again great for the price. We visited the Glen Moray Distillery the next morning which was also a great value.
I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. Chris was very pleasant and very helpful nothing was any problem for him.continenal breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices and Chris made sure nothing ran out . The rooms were more than adequate for my one night stay . The hotel in general was very tidy and spotlessly clean. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would certainly recommend
The food was all home cooked and was very good - we enjoyed a three course evening meal on Saturday night and a very tasty and fulfilling breakfast on Sunday morning. The staff were very friendly and very helpful - nothing was a bother to them. I would recommend this wee gem to anyone looking for accommodation in the Kemnay area.
Staying in the Bothie was a great opportunity. We experienced living and walking in woodlands, relaxing around a fireplace, peaceful surroundings and even a complimentary bottle of bubbly. From the Bothie, we were able to do several day trips to surrounding areas such as Inverurie, Balmoral and Braemar.

Nothing, the property was closed! No communication at all from Booking.com or the hotel! Hotel completely uncontactable on date of arrival and still is!
For a couple 70+ year olds my wife and I needed the central location.
Plus being able to also accommodate our Daughter who had come in from San Francisco to spend Family time with Family and Friends in Inverurie was exceptional...
If available for our next visit...We'll Be Back..

We only stayed for one night in Inverurie just to visit some family close by. The hotel is close to the centre of town and has a small car park to the side. The rooms are fine for a night or two. We had a few drinks in the bar on our return from the family visit.
Ease of checking in to the lodges.
Messaged ahead of time to arrange a shower seat for one of our party who is a wheelchair user and it was there in place for our arrival.
Brilliant lodge, really spacious and comfortable. Close to Inverurie. Would recommend.
Bennachie Lodge has the loveliest staff and ambience with also a good bar and restaurant. Everything was very clean and it was warm and cosy. There are beautiful and extensive grounds. The hotel is undergoing gradual upgrading and is a real gem in the area.
Third stay in this gorgeous place. Home from home whilst visiting family in Inverurie.
Cosy with everything we needed.
New venue to eat in İnverurie is Siesta by Valeria it’s a tapas place but the
food is so good and the owners are really lovely.
Nice Hotel, great and very friendly staff, wonderful food at the restaurant, very good breakfast with lots of different choice. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the bathroom also very clean but a little outdated. We slept great!
Property was spacious. Front door is off a pretty patio and opens to downstairs full bathroom. living/dining room and kitchen. Upstairs were two bedrooms and a tiny en suite bathroom with shower. All was very modern and tastefully done.
Sarah and her husband run a wonderful Inn at the Barra Castle. They have a lovely restaurant next door to your beautiful cottage. Friendly staff and cute decor, I would absolutely recommend this spot while in Abderdeenshire area.
Clean, tidy, breakfast was lovely. I booked as a treat for my mums 60th birthday the hotel was happy for ne to drop off balloons, chocs etc to be put unto room for her arrival.
Wifi good, enabling work to be done. Excellent shower. Breakfast very good quality. Staff very efficient and friendly. Hotel social spaces very comfortable.
Excellent stay, very very welcoming by Barry and couldn't do enough to make our stay a good one.
Food was excellent, hotel is central and very beautiful!!
