Friendly staff and a lively atmosphere. We enjoyed a good evening meal and good breakfast and will certainly plan to stay here again if we are travelling north next year.

The staff gave a warm welcome, the interior design was very high-end and the place is just full of quality. I had a great night's sleep, the quality of both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Prices at the bar were very reasonable. Top class stay.

The family provided us with a warm welcome, including our dog, and everything was very homely. The Croft is beautifully decorated, breakfast was a delight, and the good hot shower was appreciated after a day hill walking.

Has everything you need in a lovely small town. Nice coffee shop, pub and a little gift shop by the Falls, which were impressive. As well as practical little supermarket and a nice playground for the kids.

Beautiful scenery, quiet location.
Beautiful scenery, quiet location. The falls of Dochart are stunning. Well worth a visit to see them. There is also a golf course in Killin with stunning views of the surrounding area. Tucked away in the woods of Killin across from the cemetery you will find the ruins of Finlarig Castle which dates back to 11th century, also well worth a visit.

We stay here often, as its dog friendly and have always found it a nice place to stay, with friendly staff. Any problems, you only need to ask. Meals are good and fairly priced, as are the prices at the bar. Looking forward to our next stay.

We ate dinner at The Luib Hotel on our arrival and it was excellent. We visited several other hotels and cafes and they were all good establishments. The staff at The Luid are always ready to answer any questions we had regarding places to visit. They are very helpful and the atmosphere they create in the lounge is unbeatable.

If your only issue is wi- fi then you don't have much of an issue. This Hotel caters for most clientele. The staff may I say are excellent. So many spaces to chill out both in the Hotel and surrounding area. Just a wonderful place to stay.
We have loved to stay in the Luib hotel!!
Warm and friendly family owners, with nice xat to learn more about the Scottish culture. The room was perfect for 4 people with a spacious bathroom. You can have dinner in the same hotel, which we recommend as it is homemade and very good.
Traditional Scottish breakfast, which we liked it very much.
The views are great and the area is calm and peaceful.
The hotel has a nice and spacious parking, very convenient.
I highly reccommed this hotel.
Perfect location in town. Lovely building with bags of atmosphere. Open fire in the restaurant and an unexpectedly good menu. Previous trips to Scotland have been disappointing with regard to food. Very impressed with the food here. We had Tempura Cauliflower and Haggis balls to start. All delicious and Venison casserole for our main course. The sticky toffee pudding was the best we have ever eaten. Served with a good quality ice cream.
The coffee shop attached to the hotel was also good.
We had a lovely stay at Capercaillie! It is located at the edge of Killin in a nice and quiet area (only a 25-min walk to the Falls of Dochart). The house has a lot bigger than we expected and spotless. The lounge was comfy and very modern, and the kitchen was really well-kitted out with everything you could need. The master bedroom had a huge en-suite and it all worked perfectly! Maybe a little expensive, but a lovely place to stay.
Property history was key to booking! Loved how the room was decorated, huge windowsill to sit in and look over the amazing scenery. Amenities were all there- shower nice and warm. Really loved the pub/breakfast area - fire in the evenings so cozy. Great owners- helpful and nice! Hope to stay again sometime 😀 Liked being out in the country-Pictures of the property in a rainy dark night looked cozy and welcoming-exactly what it is
The hotel was very good.the room was clean and comfortable.staff couldn't do enough for us.i would highly recommend this hotel.the breakfast kept us full all day .the evening meal on the Saturday was very delicious and did us nicely until breakfast on the Sunday.
If the motorbike rally we attended is on in Killin next year I would definitely be booking a room at the courie inn.
Tastefully decorated, calming, peaceful (despite being beside the main road!), beautiful views from the dining room and Room 7. Great to chat to the owners, and best scrambled egg and tomato breakfast I’ve had in any kind of hotel or guest house. No wifi and very poor mobile reception was….. amazing! I knew it would be like this in advance and it added to the feeling of calm.
A nice place to stay in a little laid back village that is busy during the day due to the river and the old bridge. Rooms are small and as expected in a historic building. The food in the pub/restaurant was excellent at night as well as for breakfast. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Can be a bit of noise from the pub it does not go on too late.
The lodge itself is charming, old-school hunting lodge with beautiful decor and incredible scenery. The staff was so friendly and we had a delicious dinner / breakfast there as well. It was great to enjoy a beer in this unique and tranquil setting and a meal after a long day of traveling.
The cottage was very well equipped with all we needed for a very comfortable stay. It was close to the Killin hotel where we enjoyed a lovely meal and was easy access to all the natural beauty of the village and surrounding area. Our host was friendly and most helpful.
Staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful. The man on reception was especially helpful. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was really good and would definitely recommend that. Breakfast was good with lots of choice and cooked breakfast to order.
Loved the house very clean and comfortable, everything that wee need, and pet friendly loved the location and friendly people. Scenery fantastic lots of walks around Killin. We will go back loved it very relaxed stay.
Location was perfect views were lovely..enjoyed log burner..not too far out of Killin for going out for meals..bar/restaurant on site which was nice although bit expensive..Recommend Killin Hotel.
Lovely room, comfy stunning bed , delicious breakfast, attentive staff , ate in resturant in the evenings , good food , excellant choices , menu changed daily ....The Coach House was 10/10
Our hosts, Monica and Roman, provided exceptional hospitality. The property is lovely, the breakfast was abundant and delicious, and they were very helpful with advice on local sights.
