We love Weston-super-Mare. We have been a few times now.
We love Weston-super-Mare. We have been a few times now. The beach is my favourite that I have ever been too. It is incredibly clean and big. Amazing walk along the promenade and the town centre shopping, especially the sovereign shopping centre is Great. We have two small children so the pier and what used to be Funland was brilliant, but we are so gutted that it is no longer there. Hotel requires refurbishment. Rooms were dull. On entering the hotel, there was a foul smell near the lift. No bathroom washbasin mixture is available. Closet ceiling light was not working. Don't like advertisement done on coffee mugs. Seemed like I was having coffee in some donated cups. Good Breakfast was fairly good Staff was courteous and well mannered.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

I am 71 and came from Bristol. Sunday school outings always went to Weston. My parents and brother all ended up living at Carlton Mansions next door to the Grand Atlantic. I love returning to Weston and spending time on the beach.

Weston super Mare is an old fashioned seaside resort trying hard to keep itself attractive. The renovated pier has offers amusements and cafes and the derelict old pier adds character. There is a sandy beach but at low tide there is a lot of mud between that and the sea. The marine pool is interesting. There is pleasant walking on the nearby headlands Worlebury to the north and Brean Down, a short drive to the south. There are plenty of places to eat - we went to a great Italian place called Il Michelangelo.

Great. This has to be possibly the best family seaside holiday destination . So many other seaside resorts have sadly gone downhill ,but not so Weston the beach and promenade are a real credit to the local council, its services and employees. Weston super mare has everything a family could want for a great holiday experience.AAnonymous

English breakfast was just perfect. We liked the tower room with the beautiful seaview and the nice balcony. We discovered several places such as Bristol, Bath, Bibury and Castle Combe. But walking along the beach in Weston-super-Mare is also a nice idea to spend a day and finish it in one of the restaurants along the seafront. And the weather in April was just perfect for this trip.

We were allocated room 204, with dual aspect windows, one over looking the car park and college , and the second one had a sea view. Breakfast was lovely, however a little disorganised and the waitress’s did have some difficult guests to attend to.

We stayed in a beautiful, seaview room. (Ask for "Weston Bay" to get the nicest room.) Staff were very friendly and obliging. Good continental breakfast was included. Our dog was made welcome.
