Superb accomodation. Loved the huge terrace and views over the bay. Perfectly set in paradise cove with very limited footfall, for those who prefer peace and quiet. Also appreciated the quick turnaround due to very late booking from my part. Highly recommend.

Great location, short walking distance from the Gradina bay. Amazing panoramic view from the balcony, surrounded by nature! In a beautiful tranquil little village. The hosts are absolutely lovely and very caring. The apartment had everything we needed.

Vela Luka is an ex-industrial town on Korčula island.
Vela Luka is an ex-industrial town on Korčula island. It is not as historic as the old town of Korčula (although there is an archaeological site from the Neolithic). It is more down to earth and does not try to be as upscale as the old town of Korčula which only strives for upscale tourists now. But Vela Luka is still close to super beaches and has shops and bars, that are much more pocket friendly than the old town of Korčula. Take a boat to nearby Proizd island or a taxi boat to the main beach. ... you will not be disappointed.CimoliniSlovenia - 10Scored 10

Loved the little balcony, loved the "city vibe" from the balcony! Also appreciated the fact that we were close to the town center, close to everything like shops, cafés, restaurants and supermarkets! The room was so comfy and most importantly CLEAN!

Wasn't as lively as some other places I've visited in Croatia/felt a little like it has fallen on hard times, but we still really loved the community atmosphere. Excelent starting point for exploring beautiful Island of Korčula. Beaches are out od town but easy to reach by boat (regular lines) or car. Town is quite authentic and not overcrowded by tourists, with lot od restaurants and bars.AleksandraCroatia - 10Scored 10

Its very different to Korcula town, it has great places to swim within walking distance of the town, has good value restaurants and accommodation, its not yet spoilt, lovely to mix with locals as seems to have more local holiday makers than overseas ones. Good cycling but not many places to refuel on hot days - so be warned, carry plenty of water with you! Don't expect pretty narrow streets and hustle and bustle - ( like in Hvar, Trogir and Korcula old town) but do expect a nice chilled time for a very reasonable price with welcoming locals.NashieUnited Kingdom - 4.0Scored 4.0

Better places in Croatia to go.The restaurants are very expensive ,compared to Korcula Town.Passed through some very nice villages on bus getting to Vela Luka All in all had a good holiday,but felt a little disappoint with the island.Did not have the feel of the Croatia ,that I like.

It was a really outstanding interior design (great rain shower, perfect lighting and comfortable bed as well!) with everything you would need and makes you feel comfotable. The whole building is very new and everything is still shining. Matea gives you a lot of advices, what makes planning easier to get around the island. I recommend this place 200% and would definitely book it again if we'd go back to Vela Luka.JasminSwitzerland

The place is run by a local family and Mare, the main host, is extremely friendly and truly helpful! As the place was quite booked (like Vela Luka in general), we used three different rooms during our stay and all were equally good (that's why I'm giving scores three times). A lot of space for the kids to play around the house, safe pool with nice area around it, apartments have separate entrances and terraces so even when all apts. are occupied you can enjoy your holidays in privacy. Only 10min on foot to cetral Vela Luka with shops, beautiful port, ferries, festivals ect. Shaded parking, easy access to main road. You can use the barbecue w/o charge, and order homemade food from host's mum. Great place.

The landlady welcomed us with this grandson who helped with the translation, really kind family, gave us a plate of homemade cookies as farewell, highly recommended to everyone for a great experience on this beautiful island. The location is perfect, one corner away from the main road of Vela Luka on the coastline. All shops and restaurants are right at your doorstep. The accommodation is exactly as shown on the pictures.

She very kindly saved a parking spot for us so we didn't have to search. She greeted us with the keys and showed us up to our apartment, and was available for questions as they came up. The apartment we were in was perfect for us and enabled us to cook our own meals on the days we wanted to do so, and was walking distance to everything. The neighbors were also very nice.

The house is away from other houses but still close to the beach and the nearby town of Vela Luka. Apartment is very nicely equipped and what we really liked was very functional kitchen and BBQ facilities (specially because majority of restaurants were closed during our stay in Korčula).
