I would like to thank AbdulHameed he treats us like brothers, not as guests. We did enjoy our stay and the great discussion we had he is rich in knowledge and he ensures there is nothing we require to make our stay wonderful.

Great homestay style accommodation in Jerash. Terrific place to base ourselves for touring around Jerash and to Umm Qais. Easy parking, plenty of room, very clean and our host really looked after us. Welcomed us with a cup of tea when we arrived.

They have a very nice place to offer a stay for your group/family. It was clean and tidy and had everything that you might need to feel like your own home in a different country. The place is surrounded with lot of trees and fruits on them like peaches, oranges, etc.

Great location to be surrounded by greenery. The property is two separate houses one with two bedrooms each with their own bathroom and a big living room and another smaller casita by the pool and playground. We were three families and had plenty of space to spread out, bbq, swim and enjoy the view. King Talal dam is 15 minutes away for a hike and the animal sanctuary is 20 minutes if you are looking for a day trip in the area. Host was super responsive and helpful!

Perfect for a day and night trip (like arrive in the early afternoon and leave the following late morning). In addition to the Roman city within Jerash there are other nice spots to the north (just south of the border with Israel and Syria), reachable by car, that are definitely worth to visit.

Jerash is much smaller and quieter than Amman.
Jerash is much smaller and quieter than Amman. But you will get to meet people like the operator of the 511 grocery or other markets, the owner of the property, and people say hello all the time. A short trip to Ajloun and you see a Byzantine castle. In between is Souf, a small town with many shops. A wonderfully quiet part of Jordan, and the Roman ruins are the best outside of Pompeii!

The ruins were spectacular.
The ruins were spectacular. I thoroughly recommend taking 3-5 hours for them. The area is also a good getaway for North Jordan. You can enjoy cheap local food in Jerash. I found a nice shawarma place 5 minutes walk from the ruins. It was called: داريا للمطاعم جرش

Jerash archeological site is huge and worth visiting, spectacular views, whole streets with columns, temple of Zeus and Artemis. Probably more interesting details could be received from local guide, but all explanation posts are in place. Take 2L of water per person, especially during summer time and ignore local mercenaries inside. Comfortable shoes and clothe for 2-3 hours of walking recommended

Jerash the hisotry park: if you have any real interest in Roman architecture, reserve the whole day to appreciate everything the huge park has. More to see than Petra on a smaller footprint. Make sure to view the museum. Good coffee shop and nice staff there. We didn't do anything in town.
The house is beautiful, clean and the furniture is new.
The view from the hotel is ammmmazing, you kan see the whole city from the balcony 😍, and see the Famous Archaeologi site.
We got served a delicious homemade dinner, especially made for us
It takes 2 minutes to the city of jerash.
I felt so lucky to stay there and It was the best place to stay in, in Jerash.
The owner welcommed os with open arms, and made it so homey and relaxing, with tea and a pleasant talk.
Most recomanded.
This is one of the few hotels in Jerash, and I chose it because it had good reviews. However, I was disappointed with the location, breakfast and overall vibe of the place. I didn't get the room I booked (double room with patio) and was not offered any explanation, or discount when I pointed it out. They seem to have a thing about CCTV with cameras all over the place. Breakfast was ordinary and dinner was quoted at 20JD, which is just silly.
We had a wonderful 3-day stay at Jerash Hill! We originally chose this location to be near the Roman ruins, Ajloun Castle, etc. and those sights were definitively top-notch experiences. However, the real reward for staying here was experiencing the genuine Jordanian hospitality extended by the kind host family....they generously provided a remarkable peek into the culture, history, everyday life, and cuisine of Jordan. Highly recommended!
One of the best stays during my month-long trip to Jordan. Formerly an artist's house, it is quite relaxing. Although Naim speaks just little English, he's very hospitable, he brought us orange juice and local sweets every day. Habib speaks English, quite well for his age, if you need information. From the roof terrace, you can see the ruins. There's a kitchen with water dispenser (hot and cold), microwave, fridge and stove.
A trip with a friend
I came to Jerash on the recommendation of a friend.
It was only after walking through the historical sites that I felt like I had gone back to ancient times.
A hotel with a wonderful view of the sunset sky and historical sites.
It's close to historical sites, so it's good for sightseeing.
I was touched by the kindness of the abou tunis staff.
The room was also upgraded so I had a comfortable stay.
Wonderful place with most amazing view of the Roman Theater. Great location only 10 minutes walk to Jerash Archaeological Site entrance! The hotel is brand new and everything is perfect, cozy and very clean rooms with balcony, comfortable beds, best showers, fantastic breakfast, and the Staff and Owners were beyond excellent!
They made us very welcome; we felt at home. Highly recommended.
Host family is very kind and nice. Their greeting makes me feel heartwarming. The room is big and comfortable. Breakfast is traditional and wonderful taste. I totally recommend if you want to experience staying with the Jordanian family.
The location is near Jerash archaelogical site by 3-minute driving but it's uphill.
Quiet, very nice rooms, nice view and good breakfast. I had a wonderful time with Raman, the Manager, and his family. It's more than just a hotel, it's a place to feel very welcome. Everyone working there does everything to make a guest feel like a real guest. I don't write many reviews, but this place deserves one.
Family guest house in direct neighbourhood of the Jerash complex. I booked a room just for myself and got a big room where 8 people could easily fit in. Free parking next to the hotel. Tasty breakfast on the veranda under the grapevine. The owner does his best to make the stay even better. Clean bathroom.
Beautiful garden setting-clean & tidy accommodation-thoughtful attention to detail-welcoming & gracious host-great communication. Perfect spot for exploring Jerash and the northern part of Jordan. Very good value. Highly recommend!
After what we have been experiencing in Jordan, moon valley was the best. Clean spacious had every possible equipment in the kitchen. And plus is nice view terrace and location just above the site in Jerash.
The hosts were very lovely and did their best to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The location was quiet yet close to the historical centre of Jarash.
