It was such a delight staying at Hotel do Parque. From the kindness of the staff, to the amazing style, the high ceiling and the confort of the bed! The morning complementary breakfast was delicious and had plenty of choices. I so so so recommand this hotel!

Curia is an undiscovered gem. A 15 minute lovely walk from the accommodation gives gorgeous old affluent hotels/gardens/sculptures and tree lined avenues. One of our highlights in three months of travel!

The home of suckling pig and espumante! A great place to visit to try Portuguese sparkling wine and leitao. Also, an easy train journey or drive to Coimbra and Aveiro, and a 40 minute drive to Costa Nova with its incredible strippy houses and beautiful beaches. We at at Salpoente in Aveiro and Pedro and Ines at Quinta de Lagrimas in Coimbra, highly recommend both. Also visited Caves Sao Joao - a MUST visit. Great tour and tasting!

The great attraction of Curia is its 14 hectars Termal Park which has always been open to visitors. Now they decided to close it to visitors staying in other hotels which is detrimental to the local tourism. They could have charged entry, controlled numbers of visitors, taken the names of visitors, anything that might make sense, rather than forbid everybody from enjoying this great local asset. So I would make sure this decision of closing the Termal Park was changed before booking a vacation thereTeresaPortugal

Slept very well. Dona Paula was really nice and supportive. Even though I can’t speak Portuguese well, but I understood that she wants to help her guests with her maximum effort. Exerior of building might seem to old or in construction, however inside of the hotel is fine. Bath tub was really good to take a rest. Breakfast was simple but full enough for my caminho.
