The seaside view and balcony were amazing, and the property was lovely and homey. The location was great, within minutes of the main streets and hikes, along with the grocery store. Free parking both at the hotel and in the adjacent parking lot were a huge asset. The host was lovely, responsive, and helpful.

Loved the location and our spacious room! We had a lovely sea view and private bathroom. The rooms were incredibly clean and the beds were extremely comfy. We loved sleeping with the window open to hear the ocean at night. The sauna was exceptional and the morning breakfast spread had tons of options. Lastly, the staff was kind, helpful and accommodating.

Fjallbacka is a very nice town on the Swedish west coast.
Fjallbacka is a very nice town on the Swedish west coast. It is a quite popular destination in summer, while in winter time is pretty empty. I've been there in November and hardly found something open. It is very nice wandering along the harbour and enjoying the silent and peaceful atmosphere. Don't miss the stairs that start from the middle of the town to go up to the hill close by. It's a 5 minutes walk and it will open beutiful views over the town and the bay.

I went during autumn, so the weather was not great to swim or do summer activities. However the surroundings are beautiful, and with a car in less than one hour you reach the Koster natural reserve which I totally recommend. There are some nice restaurants in the village as well!FabianSpain

Villa Evalotta has a very good situation above the harbour and the village, just a few steps away from the church. From this point of view, this is a very central location. The house itself has several terraces where to sit and chill around a glass of wine or a cup of coffee enjoying the fantastic view on the harbour, the see and the surrounding islands.ThierryGermany

Having parking on-site was a real boon. The apartment was very well-equipped, clean and tidy, and tastefully furnished. Two suggestions for improvement 1) a kettle for tea drinkers and 2) put a house number on/close to the door to make it easier to find! (We phoned the owner for advice, and she was very helpful).
