The Meininger Downtown Sissi is in the Leopoldstadt District, a 10 minute walk from the Schottenring subway station. The modern rooms with private bathrooms are all soundproofed. Everything was great. Rented bikes to get around. Good location, staff was friendly and helpful.

The Ibis Wien Messe is conveniently located near the famous Prater amusement park (Riesenrad), the Reed Exhibitions Messe Wien and the Austria Center Vienna (congress center). Personnel was friendly, room was clean. Metro was very close. Breakfast was decent.
