The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna is located in 4 historic palaces in the centre of Vienna and combines luxury with contemporary design. A 24-hour room service is available. Excellent breakfast with lots of options. Friendly personal service, with the opportunity to order from an ala carte. Friendly staff. Hotel quite near to a metro stop. The whole hotel seems to be scented, which is pleasant but odd. The gym downstairs is well-equipped for most people, swimming pool is large enough for a little swim and some lounging around. Loads of options for food and drinks, surprisingly fairly priced. Surprisingly not obscenely expensive for a single room during a time when all the hotels in the area were booked.

The Amauris Vienna - Relais & Châteaux is an elegant and modern design hotel, situated right in the city centre on the famous Ringstraße boulevard, 200 metres from the State Opera. I have stayed in so many 5* hotels and I can tell you that this one is by far the most sophisticated and cozy/ friendly hotel I have been to. The cleanliness is to the highest standards. They have small details in their interior design which makes it unique and yet very discreet & chic. Staff is very polite and helpful and i think this is what is takes to make a great establishment. From The valet standing outside to the nice restaurant staff “in clin d’œil to Enzo de la Champagne-Ardenne” & all the rest of the staffs are all so welcoming n knowledgeable. For instance dining at the Glasswing restaurant by chef Alexandru Simon. This experience was simply having a feast on the plate & again wonderful staff, great Sommelier.

Opened in 1892, the luxurious Hotel Bristol, a Luxury Collection Hotel, set directly next to the Vienna State Opera, is ideally located to explore the major sights of the city. To be honest, everything about this hotel was perfect: the setting, the people, the food, the beds, the room. Every single thing was wonderful. We are pretty critical people, so this is saying something ;-). We found it to be absolute perfection! The breakfast was absolutely wonderful! My husband had to do the FODmap diet which is very difficult because he cant eat loads of stuff. The hotel had arranged for gluten free bread, lactose free products and we loved the breakfast, it was so good! Anything was possible, so lovely. The beds are amazing and we are very fussy sleepers, so that is saying something ;-) The room was so wonderful, it really has that Vienna fairy tale style. So lovely. This was by far the best hotel we ever visited and the people are also very helpful.

O11 Boutique Hotel Vienna is located opposite the world famous Vienna State Opera, just off the ring road to the gate to the city of Vienna. The 011 hotel provided the best of what was needed for comfortable accommodations while visiting Vienna. Great location. Good big bed. A well equipped bathroom with good shelf space for personal toiletry stuff. Knowledgable, efficient, engaging, helpful, friendly and highly professional reception staff—a real plus! The transportable magnifying mirror was a very welcome feature, along with a generous amount of electrical outlets well-placed. The feeling of and actual spaciousness was appreciated. Thank you!
