Tião Botelho Guest House in Rio de Janeiro provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. Alberto is the nicest man in Rio! Did everything we could possibly ask for (and more) to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Perfect for an authentic rio experience in lapa. Good and cheap nearby restaurants and party atmosphere on the weekends. Doesn't speak English (we dont speak portuguese) but more than makes up for it with enthusiasm and Google translate.

The rooms are better than 3 star hotel rooms. Beds are comfy, showers are clean & the interior design of the showers doesn't make it seem you are in a hostel. Rooftop bar is also cool & the staff were exceptionally friendly...

Very nice hotel. Clean. Very nice pool. Breakfast was full of interesting choices. No need to add anything. I had problem with room safe and staff was very helpful.

Located 2 km from Rio de Janeiro commercial centre and 3 km from Flamengo Beach. The restaurant serves a daily buffet breakfast. WiFi is free and private parking is possible on site, at a surcharge. Location is awesome, Saturdays can be light due to the weekend movida but also cool because out of the fire you have the Rio nightlife. Breakfast is awesome.

I came during the carnaval period unprepared and had best time among all the trips I've done in my life. And all this thanks to Thiago.

Américas Granada Hotel has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar in Rio de Janeiro. Staff were super friendly and service was great except when the pool bar is open it is almost impossible to get anything from the restaurant. It took 40min to get a Coca Cola up from the downstairs restaurant. They should just say “no service at the pool” and I would’ve got it myself. Other than that a great value stay.
