Located in the Breitenrain-Lorraine district in Bern, Alpenblick Bern - kind of a hotel offers 3-star rooms with free WiFi. The library/breakfast room was so cool! Also loved the breakfast basket concept. Also like that it's outside of the city center (but with good public transport connection) and therefore less hectic.

Re-opened in April 2017 after renovations, Hotel Jardin Bern is located within a 20-minute walk from the historic center of Bern. The tram number 9 offers direct connections to the center. Welcoming reception, easy and smooth check-in, great location and very quite at night.. Good room size.

This place was fantastic. The room was well designed to maximise on space, clean, and comfortable. Staff were incredibly helpful and responsive. Location is great, right next to a popular train stop, and a grocery store at the base of the building. It's a business area too, so you don't get much noise after business hours.

Marie was a wonderful host, doing everything to ensure we had a good stay in Bern. The house is beautiful, breakfast very tasty and we loved the area which made it absolutely worth the short walk into the city centre. Highly recommend!
