The location was great, just next to the train station. Having a lake-view room will make your trip unforgettable. The room was quiet and the staff were very kind. Located near the center and shopping street and adjacent to the lake.

Top quality in every way. Superb hospitality from Carina. Excellent location. Steps away from the train station, but completely free from any noise at all. We would come back in a heartbeat.

This beautiful, renovated and modern hotel is located in the town center, close to Locarno’s old town with the famous Piazza Grande and Lake Maggiore with its lakeside promenade. We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Garni Muralto in Muralto , Locarno. They provided free public transport pass. They had a nice covered private parking at some extra cost. But you must make the parking reservation beforehand. We took the mountain view rooms and the view from the room was fabulous. The mountains and some part of the lake was visible from the room window and the balcony. The city center and the lake was in walking distance. They have a restaurant in the Piazza Grande where you can avail some discounts if you are staying at the hotel.

Set on the lakeshore promenade of Lake Maggiore, Hotel Geranio Au Lac is only 328 feet from the Locarno Train Station and the city center. It offers a breakfast buffet. The hotel is awesome! The staff are really what made us love the place, and want to come back, but the rooms are super comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our patio was so great, and the location in the lake can’t be beat.

Set in a turn-of-the-century villa, Hotel Alexandra is just a 10-minute walk from Locarno’s town center. It offers Mediterranean cuisine. Alexandra Hotel offers a rich buffet breakfast daily. Luigi was super friendly. The room was nice and we even had some lake view. we definitely recommend to stay here.

Warm and welcoming Nadia & Cinzia are lovely they can’t help enough. Breakfast was fabulous they ordered in G/ F items for me! the bed is really comfortable, bathroom great

Hotel la Palma au Lac is located on the beautiful lake promenade of Locarno, a few steps from the city center. All rooms provide a TV, a safe and a private bathroom. one of the best hotels ever!! I like the way they deal with the guests. they also gave us a welcome card to take any juice. The beds are so comfy and the bathroom was wide. The staff in the restaurant are very friendly and they always smiled at me.. When I checked out they give me a goodbye and wished me a happy trip. different restaurants around the property the breakfast was amazing I would like to thank the receptionist Ms. Nina as well, she is so kind and helpful.. Highly recommended.

Most friendly experience with the staff at the reception. Excellent price/value proposition. Well located near the rail way station and the city center.
