Positioned along Taohua River, Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel features a Chinese-style courtyard and is located in Lujia Village, just 1.2 mi from downtown Guilin. The location of this hotel is well situated on the outskirts of Guilin city. It has several attractions within a walkable distance, such as Reed Flute Cave, but it is also a drivable within an hour and a half to major tourist sites like Longji rice terraces to the north and Yangshou county to the south. It is also within a cozy village, and we explored the local restaurants in the first day. The friendly owner of the establishment went above and beyond in service, responded through text quickly to arrange private tours to the places we wanted to go. We were picked up from the train station when we arrived at Guilin and transported back at the end of the trip. Breakfast options range from homemade local guilin rice noodles with fruit to a more western style option if preferred. Bed was comfortable with working wifi and AC. I was expecially impressed by the small things, how when we came back from a long day of touring the owner would always have fresh fruit waiting for us, how the towels and complimentary water would be refilled and waiting for us on our return, and how we were given a bag with snacks and other items for our trip home. If you are looking for a relaxed, local experience with good service that serves as a base to set off to see all Guilin has to offer, then I can't recommend this place enough.

Guilin Bonjour Boutique Hotel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Guilin. This is very close to Reed Flute cave and an excellent restaurant just next door. The receptionist was very helpful in moving me to a room with view as had appeared in the search. She also went beyond to help me organise a carpool for my onward journey. Lovely quiet location.

In a prime location in the Qixing District district of Guilin, Holiday Inn Express Guilin City Center, an IHG Hotel is located a few steps from Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, a 6-minute walk from Sun... Location! Location! Location! There are hundreds of food and souvenir options within walking distance. As one who wants to spend a peaceful yet boisterous vacation with my family, I can't expect more in terms of location. Breakfast is very good, with varieties of food and drinks. It saves me time by starting a new day without worrying about breakfast. Moreover, it provides western style food and drinks where there are almost exclusively Chinese foods nearby the hotel. More likes are given to the staffs, especially the front desk, who are courteous and helpful. The room I stayed was clean and comfortable. But it is not spacious compared with other hotels of equal rates. But it works good with me.

Big and bright room, great location, helpful staff, they offered us a boat trip to Yangshuo. The room was bigger than expected.

Located conveniently in the heart of the city, Zhengyang Inn offers accommodations in Guilin. Free WiFi is accessible in the public areas. Great location - right next to the pedestrian street. Best part was Jenny who helped us out so much during our stay, including recommending things to do and helping us book our tours. The rooms are very cute and clean!
