It was our first accommodation on Cape Verde and even though it was a bit pricey compared to other options, I am happy we chose it for starters for the least possible cultural shock :) It is very modern, clean, organised with the most amazing breakfast buffet full of local and traditional goods. The choice of fresh juices was insane and i was falling asleep looking forward to the breakfast. And the coffee was very good too. The owner came to speak with us during our breakfast and explained us about the dishes we were having, which was a nice touch. The AC in the room was very helpful for transitioning into tropical climate and the thick curtains made it possible to sleep off the jet leg a bit longer in the morning. The staff spoke english and was very helpful with everything we needed like car hire.

Boasting a patio with inner courtyard views, a terrace and a bar, Appart Dolce Vita à Praia can be found in Praia, close to Cova Figueira Beach and 2 km from Praia de Quebra Canela. We really enjoyed our stay at Dolce Vita. Especially, the support and service of Neves was quite nice. The apartment is the most well equipped, we have been ever to. Here, you get a completely kitchen with all basic spices and stuff like at home. We can really recommend the apartment! PS: If you travel from the airport, take the opportunity to get to the apartment with Neves. Less stress and easier to find :)
