The Fontenay Hamburg is a 5-star hotel situated on the shore of the Alster Lake in Hamburg, within walking distance of the famous shopping area at Jungfernstieg. It gives me great pleasure to give feedback on The Fontenay. We have stayed in numerous 5 Star hotels around the world over the last many years and we have never experienced anything like The Fontenay. It is very luxurious, elegantly decorated and has a charming and very welcoming atmosphere with very attentive and professional staff. The location is fantastic right at the beautiful Alster lake. In short it was a magical experience. We shall definitely come back. Thank you all at The Fontenay for making our stay with a truly memorable experience.

Das kleine Grindel has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Hamburg. Located around 1.3 km from Hamburg Fair, the hotel with free WiFi is also 2.6 km away from Inner Alster Lake. Cosy room with very nice facilities in the heart of the university area. Clean, quiet, excellent value for money.

Located in Hamburg, The hotel offers free Wi-Fi connection and paid on-site parking. It's a 15-minute walk from the city centre. The exhibition grounds are 700 metres away. Room was very clean, hotel was very clean. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Great central location, close to trains and buses, said walk to the Alster - yet in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Instead of a mini-bar, there was a separate room offering cold drinks, snacks - at very reasonable prices, which was great. Continental breakfast; fresh cheeses, meats, smoked salmon, pastries, etc. Good value for money. Very comfortable stay, would definitely stay there again.

This hotel in central Hamburg offers free Wi-Fi in all rooms. Hotel Fresena is near Dammtor Train Station, Hamburg's CCH Exhibition Centre and the Alster Lake. The location was ideal, in a very scenic neighborhood, only a few steps from a major U-Bahn station (Dammtor). The breakfast was lovely, with a range of options, all fresh and delicious. The staff was amazing! They helped with so many things, from arranging a taxi to the airport to providing a thread and needled to mend a garment. And they did so many special touches, such as providing a small kids lamp in the shape of a mushroom for our seven-year old daughter.

This hotel occupies a mid-19th century Hanseatic building, in the popular district of Harvestehude and lies close to the Alster lake, Dammtor railway station and the exhibition grounds. The area was quiet and leafy, but still close to shops and restaurants. The decor was incredible and I really appreciated the small extras and the honesty bar system.

A very nice hotel, with a perfect location when traveling to Hamburg University Law Faculty, very clean, with very pleasant and helpful staff, and excellent value for money. Just a 5-minute walk from Dammtor railway station and Hamburg's city centre, this privately run hotel in the historic Dammtorpalais is located near the congress centre and exhibition grounds. Everything was excellent. The lady at the reception, which may be the owner, goes out of her way to help you and make your stay as pleasant as possible. Inside the hotel is beautiful and really a place to rest well.
