Location was great with good restaurants near by and walking distance to the old city and the train station and the car rental

This hotel is a charming hotel, situated in central Rennes. It is just a 5-minute walk from the Republique Metro stop and offers a private car park. Loved the location as we were traveling by train, and it was an easy walk to the gare. Unfortunately, we were only there one night and couldn't stay for breakfast. The breakfast room looked inviting Loved our room, which was small but clean,cute, and comfortable, Easy walk to restaurants and to other sites. If we return. we would certainly stay here.

The location is superb if you make Rennes your camp base for making different day trips outside the city (Mont St.Michel, Dinan) - the train station is at a stone’s throw. Located in Rennes city centre, Astrid Hotel is just a 2-minute walk from the train station. It offers soundproofed accommodation equipped with a flat-screen TV. Friendly and accommodating,were able to keep my bike safe at night for me. Unfortunately fire alarm sounded at 5am on Sunday but had only been in for an hour or two and wasn't checking out that morning.otherwise a pleasant stay at hotel,good location and as expected.
