Located within 3 km from the Acropolis and close to Metro stations and the business district of Athens, the Athenaeum Intercontinental features award-winning restaurants, a spa centre and a 24-hour... Brilliant hotel. Light, airy and very welcoming atmosphere. Highly professional staff, always greeting and smiling, courteous and polite. Inpeccably clean room, very spacious, with comfy beds and pillows. Toilet with rain shower, deep-soaking bathtub and one sink. Sound-proofing of the room was excellent. Exceptional sauna & massage serices. The lounge area was also very good; live piano music in the evenings. The hotel is also just 25 minutes walking to the Plaka and Monasteriki vibrant neighbourhoods.
