The staff is very helpful, the room was a real gem, clean and cosy, and I would say, the mattress won the mattress of the year in the hotel category this year. The hotel is very good and clean. Bus station is near a hotel ( 2 min and 7min ) and you can very easy goo to do centar. The best things about the hotel is parking inside the hotel and the car is safe.

Hotel Mediterran helped us out big time on the 24th Dec! We had troubles with our booked apartment somewhere else which was that disgusting we were unable to stay. So, at 2:30am on 24th Dec we called up Hotel Mediterran about room availability. Receptionist was extremely helpful (Sandor?) even though the super early morning call. Long story short we booked our stay at Hotel Mediterran due to the honest and friendly staff, the affordability and the quality of the room, facilities and the whole place. We can highly recommend this hotel to everyone who travels to Budapest. Good location, very low noise (barely heard the huge main road close by), close to public transports, central location with car, non-stop reception, walking distance to decent shopping centre, etc...
