The self checkin style of this hotel is seamless. Simple instructions to follow. Even the washing machine instructions has its own manual in english. We can get ourselves checkin quickly because we don’t have to deal with anyone but ourselves. The room is spacious. They separate the toilet and shower room. The toilet seat is heated. The toilet slippers are the high quality type, it’s not like the ordinary hotel room slippers.

The subway line has an elevator so even if you have luggage, it would be easy to get on and off the train station. The property was very clean and quite spacious. It had everything in it. The location is quite good too. Close to a lot of places. Just a train ride to the Gion area. It is also pretty close to Kyoto station. You do need to transfer though, but pretty short trip. There are also a couple of restaurants around the hotel. Plus, a lawson next to the train station. Best of all, the staff are very nice and accommodating. I was able to leave my luggage before check in time.

The bath available for women is great to Hotel staff is super kind The location is perfect. Some lines you can access by elevator from the hotel while the others are 3min across the street. Important to say - there is no noise. The coffee in the room was awesome too
