It is a very comfortable and very stylish place. Everything is absolutely wonderful. Design and facilities of the rooms, reception zone and restaurant. They have European food restaurant and bakery. And the terrace where is nice to have a glass of wine after the day.

Awarded two pavilions by the Michelin Guide 2020, Hotel Alza Kyoto is situated near the Kamo River and within Gion District, a 2-minute walk from Sanjo Station. Beautiful, clean and modern hotel in excellent location right in the center of Kyoto (Gion). Our room was very spacious with plenty of space for 3 of us and the luggage. The bathroom was gorgeous and included a bath-tab with micro-bubbles (the water becomes milky-white from millions of tiny bubbles - very cool experience) and a TV screen above the bath-tab (programming is in Japanese, but still very cool). Lights and curtains are centrally controlled by the buttons next to bed. Very comfortable bed with high-quality linens Everything was perfect. Definitely will be staying in this hotel next time we are in Kyoto.

Miru Kyoto Gion er staðsett á besta stað í Higashiyama Ward-hverfinu í Kyoto, 300 metra frá Gion Shijo-stöðinni, 1,2 km frá Shoren-in-hofinu og 1,9 km frá Heian-helgiskríninu. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I loved the daily breakfast croissants. The laundry/dryer was accessible and convenient. hotel was clean and next to it was 7/11. It is walking distance to temples, river, restaurants, and market/malls.

Gion Elite Terrace er staðsett í Kyoto, í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Gion Shijo-stöðinni og býður upp á gistirými með sameiginlegri setustofu, einkabílastæði, verönd og veitingastað. Very nice hotel with large rooms and a really nice staff. We had 4 nights there and I think it was the right choice for the January time due to very good location - most of interesting sites are close enough and due to sauna in the room which helped to get warm after a cold walking day.

The bedroom was big for Japanese standards, with a built-in wardrobe, a comfy bed and a big bathroom. Very quiet. Extremely close to Gion and to Kiyomizu-dera, and within a few meters from a very convenient bus stop. The staff is nice and very helpful.

Rinn Gion Kenninji Villa er vel staðsett í Higashiyama Ward-hverfinu í Kyoto, 1,1 km frá Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 1,5 km frá Shoren-in-hofinu og 1,7 km frá Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan-ráðstefnumiðstöðinni. An absolute find this place! In all aspects, this hotel/villa surpassed our expectations. This is the best location to stay in Kyoto without a doubt! Walking distance to everything you could possibly want to visit, right in the Gion district but miraculously escaping the crowded roads! Less than 10 minute walk to stations that will take you anywhere. To top up the location we got an immaculately clean and very well maintained room/apartment, spacious (we were a family of 4 and our two children are young adults), bright and airy. The staff is incredibly friendly, flexible and efficient. Super organised with storing luggage on arrival and/or departure should you arrive early or leave later. Organised our bags to be transported to the next accommodation in a super efficient way. Thank you to all at Rinn Gion Kenningi Villa, we absolutely loved staying with you and will come back!!

Hotel is in the old and historical part of Kyoto, extra comfortable, with wonderful and helpful staff, and a great selection of mangas available for reading.

Rinn Kitagomon er vel staðsett í Higashiyama Ward-hverfinu í Kyoto, 1,3 km frá Sanjusangen-do-hofinu, 1,5 km frá Samurai Kembu Kyoto og 1,4 km frá Kiyomizu-dera-hofinu. Amazing hotel in a great location. We got the room B with a queen size bed - it was super spacious and the bed was really comfortable. They provide a nespresso machine and 2 coffee/2 tea bags. Room temperature is really nice, good aircon. Good shower pressure. Great room/toilet lighting. Since there isn’t room service everyday they provide enough towels in the bathroom. Toiletries are just great - they give the hotel a luxury touch that we were not expecting! They also offer water, a microwave and coin laundry machines on the 2nd floor. It is quite easy to get public transportation around the hotel, and it is also a walking distance to some main Kyoto attractions. Overall it was one of the best hotels we have stayed at!
