Located in Tokyo and with Akabane Park reachable within a 2-minute walk, Akabane Holic Hotel has a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. The location is wonderful! The area around the hotel is quite lively and there are some really good standing bars and bakeries (note: I survived entirely using Suica money but some shops in Akabane only accepted cash). It's a short walk to the station and the station area has really come on in recent years so I was able to do all my souvenir shopping in Uniqlo, Ito Yokado, etc. As for Akabane's accessibility- it's a bit on the outskirts of Tokyo but I got to all my business meetings in and around 45 mins. If I had more free time, I would have used the local trains to get to Kawagoe and explore beyond the Sumida river.

Friendly staff, lots of amenities, close to transport, VERY CLEAN. In a good convenient area! (super close to tourist areas such as Shinjuku, Shibuya and Ikebukuro) Wifi was easy to access! And considering how close the station was, we didn’t hear anything! Towels replaced whenever we wanted which we loved! Room was cleaned every couple of days which was a bonus!

The suana is nice. The room was spacious and beds were comfy. The staff was very polite and helpful.

Almost everything was great! The staff were kind, even though I came past their check-in time, due to getting a bit confused by Tokyo Station, but they didn't even mention it. The room was nice, clean and had a decent view, I think I was on the 9th floor. The bathroom was also nice. There were also a few convenience 24/7 stores around and enough restaurants. Oji station wasn't that far away either and only took like a 5 minute walk. The breakfast was insanely good to be honest, with enough variety and left me filled for the early day as well.

Keep in mind that it was my first time in Japan, and I don't travel often to begin with so this review is coming from an inexperienced traveler. I thought this place was great to stay in. The location isn't too far from the Akabane Station (it's about a 10 minute walk), but if you have a lot of luggage it might be a little bit inconvenient. I only stayed for a week and just had a backpack and a carry on so it was fine. The front desk staff was really nice, they do speak some English so checking in and out was simple. If you're staying for an extended period of time they let you select your cleaning days (cleaning happens from 10am-3pm) and then they explain to you that your new towels will be hung on your door daily. The location is convenient because right outside of the hotel there's a cool area with a bunch of places to eat and drink as well as a Family Mart that's right across the street. The best part was that the 7Eleven around the corner has a 7bank ATM (I think all of them do), that accepts VISA as well as most other credit cards so if you forget to do the currency exchange at the airport like I did you can still get yen here. The facility is very clean and the elevator is fast. I stayed in a smoking room and never noticed any weird smells or anything, the room also comes with a nice AC unit and air freshener if you're concerned about that. The bathroom was perfect for me, but if you're taller than like 5'10" I can see how it would feel a little bit cramped. For the price it was amazing and the cleaning crew cleans the room and the bathroom really well.

I like the simplicity and directness of the hotel. The staff are very friendly. The amenities are complete and the room is cozy. The location is almost near the train station. Very recommended if a traveller like me would stay there for a brief time.
