Situated within 600 metres of Kamezumiinari Shrine and 600 metres of Shitamachi Museum, Section L Yushima-Ueno features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Tokyo. I loved it there. In a sweet quiet neighborhood right next to the action and park in Ueno, both of which we enjoyed. Great location. Thoughtful room with every amenity you can imagine. Well equipped kitchen, laundry, Swifters, deep soaking tub and all. Great! Lovely small shrine a short distance away with koi and turtles! with a great shop next door. Would definitely come back.

Location was ideal in a quiet area with easy access to transport to major areas. Staff were super lovely and very helpful. Rooms were immaculate and with great functionality. Beds very comfortable Lots of extra things available to borrow like toasters, speakers etc. Will definitely stay here again

Situated 1.5 km from Sensoji Temple, MIMARU Tokyo Ueno North provides free WiFi in all areas. The accommodation features a hot tub. The units have a kitchen with a microwave and a fridge. Very good design of the space . very clean and quiet !

Set in Tokyo and with Jinnai Shrine reachable within 300 metres, HotelCO Kuramae ホテル コ 蔵前 offers a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. The spacious room is well taken care of and clearly very new. The photos are exactly as it is. You can choose to get the room cleaned daily. It is a clean and well decorated space. We used the projector to watch Netflix at night, and took baths every day we were there. The bathtub takes forever to fill, but it is a nice "onsen" feeling after a day of walking. The morning breakfasts were delicious and the attention very polite. Traditional Japanese breakfast that is already set from 8:30 to 10:30am. We really liked the style and the quality was very good. Simple foods, but everything you need to start the day with a happy belly. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, even with a language barrier. Even for simple things like wishing a good day, we used Google Translate but the good intentions were clear. They also helped us bring our suitcases to the taxi and spoke to the driver to make sure we were going to the right destination. They also brought our suitcases up and down the stairs (no elevator, be ready for the classic Japanese steep stairs!) We also ordered something online and had it delivered at the hotel and they brought it to our room once it arrived. We enjoyed being within walking (~15-20 min) distance from a couple of our favourite neighbourhoods. The metro is also ~12 min away. It has a Family Market right across the street so if you need anything, you just need to come down.

Well set in the centre of Tokyo, &Here TOKYO UENO provides 3-star accommodation close to Ryuseido Shinjo-in Temple and Shitamachi Museum. We arrived on what was actually the official grand opening day! Didn't know that. But they had put out flowers and sculptures in the foyer. The staff were amazing. Very helpful. I asked about baseball tickets and the staff member checked with her colleagues then ran up to the room with a map for a ticket reseller nearby. Room was great, good size. More than double the size of a similar priced room in Shinjuku.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, APA Hotel Asakusa Shin Okachimachi Ekimae is located in Tokyo, 400 metres from Choen-ji Temple and 500 metres from The Shitaya Shrine. Although the room was small, it was cozy and comfortable. I love that they replenish the amenities and clean the room every day. It was like the room was reset to when you first arrive so it was nice to come back to after a long day. Every single staff member that we talked to was very kind and hospitable. We had to extend our check-out time and they were very accommodating! They also held on to our luggage after check-out since our flight wasn't until later that night. I liked that there was an available coin laundry on the ground floor along with a vending machine and a restroom as well. Overall, our experience with the hotel has been amazing. My partner and I have no complaints about our stay!

In a prime location in the centre of Tokyo, APA Hotel Ueno Ekiminami provides air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant and free WiFi. The daily amenities provided were great. Bed was comfortable. It was only a 5 min walk to Ueno Station. Close to convenience store. Staff was friendly/helpful. I highly recommend.

Ideally set in Tokyo, APA Hotel Ueno Hirokoji features an American breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. The staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous. They answered all my questions and anticipated my needs. The location was great. The hotel was in walking distance of the museum, the park and several shrines. My only issue was my room. I am taller than most. The bed was a little cramped. Many people wouldn’t have this issue though. I highly recommend this hotel.
