Set in The Hague, 4.1 km from Paleis Huis Ten Bosch, Boutique Hotel First City features views of the city. Warm staff, great location in the city center, in a quiet area also. We arrived earlier but were able to check in faster.

It was very disappointing: Due to a knee injury, I was unable to climb the very steep stairs to the top floor (not shown or written in advance in the listing)! I asked if I could change an apartment or request a partial refund and when that was not possible, I booked another hotel and asked if I could please change the date to 2025 (not something unreasonably close). So far, nobody has returned my messages, my card has been charged, and Booking.com’s customer service said they would let me know when the property replied them - which has not been done. I was supposed to have stayed from April 17-19, and now it is the middle of May: The property still hasn’t replied.
