Part of Mercado do Bom Sucesso building, the design Hotel da Música offers a 24-hour reception 400 metres from Casa da Música Metro Station. It features a restaurant and bar on site. Location, good breakfast, comfortable beds, super clean, very kind and attentive staff.

Featuring a rooftop lounge with panoramic Porto and Douro River views, 5-star Porto Palacio has a luxurious spa with massage rooms, squash court, fitness centre and an indoor pool. The breakfast buffet was very good. A lot to choose from. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Walking distance to many restaurants, shopping center and a beautiful cemetery with countless mausoleums.

Situated on Porto’s Avenida da Boavista, Portus Cale Hotel offers bright, air-conditioned rooms and a daily buffet breakfast. The Douro Riverfront is just 2 km from the hotel. The room was big, with a comfortable bed, new furniture, and good wi-fi connection. That’s all I was needed for my staying here. The breakfast was good enough, it costs 10 euros. Location is great, the district is safe, but it’s a bit far from the very city centre. There is a food market Mercado Bom Sucesso located close to the hotel.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, this 5-star hotel offers a rooftop bar with Porto and Douro River views. The HF Ipanema Park is 1 km from Serralves Museum and Garden. The facilities very very nice and staff extremely polite and helpful. The roof pool was also very nice to spend sunny middays and cool off in the hot sun. Our ever wish was fulfilled and we even got to use the pool on our last day even after we checked out and had our flight back home late in the evening.
