Located in Istanbul’s Asian Kadıköy district, just 5 minutes’ walk from the Besiktas-Karakoy-Eminonu pier, Khalkedon Hotel offers modern rooms and a rooftop terrace with panoramic views over the... I had been at the hotel and I had no doubt when I booked again. The staff, super friendly and helpful, all of them. Always smiling, always ready to help. It's like a family, you really feel comfortable to live in the hotel. Location fantastic, I prefer Kadakoy the Asian side of Istanbul as it is more local. Then it's anyhow easy to take the boat and go to Karakoy. Next visit to Istanbul I will for sure be back here.

If you want to feel part of the community this is the perfect place to stay but may not work for folks looking to be in the midst of the tourist attractions.

Every member of the staff was very kind et very nice to me :) The rooms fits the description and albeit the neighbourhood was quite cheerful, the room was quiet during the night (AC did not bother me).

Set in a historic Greek house, Sarnıç Butik Otel is located centrally in Kadikoy, on the Asian side of Istanbul. I like tiny little old hotels in cool neighborhoods. This isn't the four seasons but it has everything that you need. If you travel light and just need a bed this hotel is a palace. Kadikoy is full of bars, restaurants, and shops. Close access to both the metro and the ferry to the European side.
