This place was just spectacular!!! Let me preface this by saying I’m the researcher and planner for our vacays and I’m not easy going. Subies absolutely did not disappoint! This old house that has been in Juan’s family for generations was recently renovated and it is decorated just oh so beautifully! Many of the furniture has been made by Juan and the pride he holds for his home and his island is simply lovely! He greeted us warmly and was super accessible and responsive throughout our stay. From helping with day trip plans to helping with restaurant reservations, we could not ask for more. The breakfasts were delicious and the common areas so comfortable, beautifully decorated and welcoming. Our bed was super comfortable and our room was tranquil and quiet. I wanted a spot away from the city that would be a good base camp for exploring the various parts of the island. Subies proved to be an excellent choice. We have so many places to visit on our bucket list but I do hope we get back here some day!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The poolside had all sorts of relaxing furniture from sun beds to a hammock. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were so attentive. Usually hotels bathrooms always have an issue whether it be poor water pressure or leaks but our bathroom was just so great everything was working so perfectly! The location was amazing and right in the centre of all the must visit places! I have no bad words about this beautiful house hosted by Maria and Xavier.

The serenity and peacefullness across the place was incredible! The hotel is run by wonderful and friendly people and the aesthetic of the Finca is one of a kind. Rebecca & Kristina are both exceptional hosts always able to help and make your day with their positive and outgoing personalities. Also, the breakfast is all made from local produce, giving you the best start of your day.
