Extremely friendly family! The adult sons all spoke English well, so communication was good. They were all so proud of their Agroturismo and gave us a tour, telling a bit about their family history. We were served an appetizer soon after arrival, which included wine from their vineyard. We had a huge breakfast with a number of homemade specialties, in fact way more than we could eat!

The place is awsome, super-cozy, with a nice pool, garden for kids to play and inserted on a small farm environment, near Braga (10min driving) Excelent for a short relaxing vacations or a single weekend get-away. The staff was exceptional, very nice and super professional.

Excellent accommodation, modern, quiet, excellent breakfast. A rural location, therefore very quiet. You will need to have a car to reach this location to be comfortable.

We were met by the charming and effusive owner Claudino, who showed us around his extensive property full of vines, lemon trees, kiwi fruit, orange trees; also a swimming pool, only just opened for the season (which we didn't make use of). Claudino offered us wine and homemade cake before showing us our room, which was small, but cozy and totally adequate. He also served us an excellent home cooked dinner, accompanied by his home brewed vinho verde tinto and later port; all of which were delicious. Breakfast was also delicious and plentiful. Claudino suggested we visit the spectacular Parque da Penha on our way to Porto, which we did, and which we would highly recommend too.
