We had a wonderful weekend in Westeras Gard! With a view overlooking. We stayed in a small wooden house for two people. It was warm and cozy at night. Hospitable and polite staff is always helpful. They fed us a hot dinner just before closing time. Also Westeras Gard has one of the best restaurants in Geiranger, where we eat. Delicious farm food. Highly recommend this place and thank you for your state and care.

What a stand out. The farmhouse was built in the early part of last century and has lost none of its charm desipite the modern conveniences. The bedroom was large, beautifully presented, and the bed made us melt away. Warm and cosy for the night. Our host was charming and drew the guests together in the most amazing breakfast. This must NOT be missed. Home produce and local delicacies, with good converstaion from the four nationalities present. A return visit would be a must if we can get back to Norway...

Great location to spend a night or two around Geirangerfjord and the beautiful lakes and glaciers in the area If you want to live on a real farm and get a more of a local experience, this is a great place with a very interesting ambience ambience The house is huge, you'll get plenty of space

Lovely quiet area, the hotel is a old converted large farmhouse and the rooms are in the style of "Escape to the Chateau". Parking was safe for my bike, next to the main through road. Owner husband was very friendly.
