We stayed at Casas de Levada as a family of 4 and loved our stay there. The place is a great combination of charming rustic touches with a modern flair. Our kids loved roaming around the grounds checking out the bunnies and cats. We loved having breakfast in the cute kitchen with the fresh food provided and relaxing by the fireplace at night. Das Quinta das Hortensias ist ein traditionelles Haus auf Madeira in Arco de São Jorge an der Nordküste der Insel Madeira. On the North side of Madeira, I sought out this lodging because I believed it would be quiet and beautiful, which it certainly was. In addition, the host Viriato was incredibly kind and responsive, with personalized recommendations and a connection to the lived life of the island. The cottages are nicely renovated old homes, both charming and comfortable which is my ideal in a stay away from home. The gardens and outside areas surrounding the cottage are expertly crafted places for taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean. There are several roads and paths where you can walk directly to the beachfront, and parking is easy if you brave the mountainous roads of Madeira. I Highly recommended!

I had an amazing stay at Casas de Pedra. The place is super well equipped and comfortable, every day housekeeping cleans the apartment spotless. The location is quite good- just minutes off the speedway, yet it is tranquil and peaceful. The attention to detail, the thoughtful small touches and the friendly and service oriented staff made the stay really exceptional.

Diese 1,4 Hektar große Unterkunft auf der Hochebene von Santo da Serra auf der Insel Madeira bietet eine natürliche Lagune. The house is excelent. We founded all what we needed, it is very well equiped! Very clean and a very tasty breakfast! We strongly recommand this location!

Geschmackvoll renoviertes Haus mit Infinity Pool etwas oberhalb von Ponta do Sol aber mit Auto gut zu erreichen. Genau wie auf den Bildern gezeigt. Die Besitzerin spricht zwar leider weder Englisch noch Deutsch, aber war unglaublich nett. Fast jeden Tag hat sie Brot, Bananen und andere Leckereien vorbeigebracht. Das Haus hat drei Schlafzimmer, jeweils mit eigenem Bad, was für uns als Familie mit erwachsenen Kindern toll war.

Quinta Terezinha is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a base to discover the island. The host Laura was so friendly and was really useful in providing information for the shops, restaurants and places to visit. The accommodation itself was perfect and exceeded our expectations. The farmhouse was lovely with comfy beds, a great shower and really clean. We didn't really make the most of the outdoor areas, but there are hammocks, a barbeque and sun loungers all with amazing views. As others have mentioned, you will likely become the owner of a couple of cats for your stay which we loved. On arrival, Laura had prepared a welcome hamper with some local exotic fruits, ground coffee and a bottle of Madeira Wine which was a lovely touch. If you run out or want any more fresh produce from the farm then the instructions are to just help yourself. What an amazing stay - just wish we could have stayed longer.

The place is nestled deep in the mountains, it made our stay in Madeira very special and completely different from the last two days in Funchal. the setting is paradisiac, with a stream running right below the cosy little house. The hosts, Comandante Carlos and his wife Eleonora are amazingly sweet and welcoming, they care for everything and prepare a great homely breakfast with fresh local produce. It was an unforgettable stay!
