The location is a bit remote from Funchal city centre but it is easy to go in and out of the city. The facilities are great and of exceptional beauty. The hotel has a beautiful garden and a comfortable commonplace with fireplace. Room was clean and tidy. Very comfortable and cozy. Personnel is really friendly and helpful with everything that you might need. They provided us a breakfast bag on the day we had to leave before breakfast hour. There is a restaurant along with the hotel which is probably one of the best in Funchal with nice atmosphere and traditional dishes.

Set in Ponta do Pargo, in the west side of Madeira Islands Region, 35 km from Funchal, Casas da Levada boasts an outdoor pool and views of the sea. Free private parking is available on site. A beautiful and quiet place with a wonderful view. Swimming pool and garden - a dream. Quite close to all the commodities and not far from all the nice places to visit in Madeira. We loved it and will come back surely.

Quinta das Hortensias is a traditional Madeira home located in Arco de São Jorge, on the north Coast of Madeira Island. The unit features views over the Atlantic Ocean and the lush Laurissilva Forest.... On the North side of Madeira, I sought out this lodging because I believed it would be quiet and beautiful, which it certainly was. In addition, the host Viriato was incredibly kind and responsive, with personalized recommendations and a connection to the lived life of the island. The cottages are nicely renovated old homes, both charming and comfortable which is my ideal in a stay away from home. The gardens and outside areas surrounding the cottage are expertly crafted places for taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean. There are several roads and paths where you can walk directly to the beachfront, and parking is easy if you brave the mountainous roads of Madeira. I Highly recommended!

Offering an idyllic setting in an Agroturism property, Casas de Pedra is located in Camacha, a Madeiran village located 12 km from Funchal city centre. It offers free WiFi access. This property is a real gem! The houses are located in a beautiful garden and are decorated with love and attention to details. Everything is sparkling clean, fresh flowers in all rooms. Owners are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is placed in the house for you and is easy to make in the morning. I recommend Casas de Pedra to everyone visiting Madeira.

The location was as depicted. Serene and verdant mountain countryside. A quiet and tranquil venue. Very relaxing. Cottages/studios were very comfortable and cozy. Venue was within walking distance from locally owned restaurants, cafes, and small market. Very quaint. Locals were very friendly & receptive. The Sunday farmers' market is a must see and do

When we think of paradise we think Quinta Terezinha! This hilltop country farmhouse is the perfect retreat for relaxation and solitude. The Hosts Laura and her father are excellent from attention to details and communication skills to providing special goodies upon arrival. There are many places to see on this island but we just did not want to leave the peaceful setting of this very special accommodation. Cats come with this deal and in my opinion make this place feel like home away from home. We love, love, love Quinta Terezinha and we how you will too!
