Situated in Feteiras and only 15 km from Pico do Carvao, Moinho das Feteiras features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Our casita was very cute. Bed was comfortable with great morning views. Bathroom has great water pressure and gets pretty hot (so important for me). The kitchen has the essentials. Daily breakfast usually includes eggs and we would fry them every morning. When we had an early morning excursion they brought our breakfast and left it in our fridge the night before. I loved this little spot. It’s about 20 min driving to ponte Delgada and the airport. Staff was amazing.

We loved staying for 3 nights with Caroline, her dogs and her horses. We wish that it had been longer. Caroline is an amazing woman and an inspiration. Her home and gardens are beautiful and in a perfect location outside of the city for exploring Sao Miguel and when coming from or going to the airport. Coffee, tea, cookies and fruit were always available.

The Convento de São Francisco is a built in a 17th century Franciscan convent. Det var store rom, og det var veldig rent og pene rom. Flotte bygninger, både inne og ute. Store felles arealer. A former summer house, Quinta da Abelheira offers an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a large lawn area. It is located in Fajã de Baixo, 4 km from Ponta Delgada, in Azores. On the morning of my check-out, I was the only guest at the Quinta. However, the breakfast was as big and as vast as I had seen in the photos, I got to try a bit of everything and it was all delicious (the Azorean cheeses are very tasty). Even though I had a late check-in, the front desk staff was very friendly and, on my check-out day, they allowed me to use to use the common areas up until I had to go to the airport for my flight.

The Quinta de Santa Clara is a cozy property, 22 km from the famous Lagoa do Fogo, the highest lagoon in São Miguel Island. The place is really nice and clean. Decoration is really nice. The kids really like the area because they could go around with no problem and even pick some fruits from their trees. The staff was really helpful. They gave us a lot of tips and recommendations for our trip.
