It was very good. Typical Slovenian breakfast. There was also a restaurant there in the evening so if you didn't want to go out you could eat there.

Farm Volk, a property with a garden, is located in Suhorje, 11 km from The Škocjan Caves, 32 km from San Giusto Castle, as well as 33 km from Piazza Unità d'Italia. It was a special place to sleep, very nice host ans very good breakfast.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Kmetija Jogan, Wines & Apartments is situated in Pobegi. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The hosts were very friendly and hospitable. We even received some very tasty traditional cake. The apartment was nice and very clean in a quiet neighbourhood.

Set within 23 km of Aquapark Istralandia and 30 km of San Giusto Castle in Izola, Kmetija Medljan features accommodation with seating area. The owners were always very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and always the first highlight of the day. We enjoyed being on a real horse farm with lots of other animals. The daily riding sessions with the excellent instructor were much appreciated by my daughter.

Apartments Janks offers air-conditioned apartments and studios with free WiFi. It is just 4 km from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Škocjanske Jame, in a small village called Vremski Britof. It is a convenient place to stay if you want to visit caves or go to the seaside or even go to Ljubljana. The managers are very nice people. The apartment is clean and quiet.

Featuring a garden fitted with tables, chairs and BBQ facilities, Tourist Farm Dujceva Domacija is located in Vremski Britof. Free WiFi access is available throughout. The apartment was super comfortable and clean with a charming front yard, and lovely views from the back of the house over the lush countryside. The location is fantastic to explore the surroundings, lot of walks and great for relaxing. The owner is super, friendly, available and helpful with tips for visiting the area. Offering mountain views, Tourist Farm Škerlj is an accommodation situated in Dutovlje, 17 km from Trieste Train Station and 19 km from Piazza Unità d'Italia. We absolutely loved this place. The family that owned the property was so nice and helpful. They even went out of their way to find a stable nearby for our horseback riding crazy kid. Pool was a lovely way to cool off. The apartment was nice and big, air conditioning was a nice plus on the warm days. We cooked on the one night the restaurant was closed, but opted for the dinners on the other nights, because the food was so good. The kitchen also accommodated our request for a vegetarian option. Location was great, close enough to the sites we wanted to see (Lipica, the coast, Trieste) but also a nice location in its own right. We took a walk every day down footpaths that led us past fields and vineyards.
