Location and Accessibility ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ x 10⁴ Perfect Location. Near to almost all the attractions. 2 mins walk to the bus stop that goes to the main bus station of Berat. Hospitality ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ x 10⁴ The host was very pleasant. She will tell you a little information about Berat. We feel very welcomed. Utilities and Amenities ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ x10⁴ All was perfect. The WiFi was fast. There's TV too. The Balcony where they serve fantastic breakfast has the best view of the place. There's also a grocery store nearby. Overall Room Condition ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ x 10⁴ The room was wonderful. Very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also great. There's also a nice view from the window. PS. We met travelers and we suggested this place. And it didn't disappoint them. Highly recommended.

The Rus Villa was everything that I wanted for my stay in Berat! It was clean. It was comfortable. It was convenient. Some have not liked the location of this place, but I thought it was excellent! I arrived via bus and it was a little more than a kilometer walk from the stop. Likewise, it was a kilometer and a half or so from the center of Berat in the other direction. That put me right in the middle of where I needed to be. I arrived early and since no one had been in the room the night before, I was able to check in, right away. That was a big bonus. There is also a restaurant associated with the hotel and I thought it was quite good. The room was a bit small, but it was all that I needed. I am happy with my decision to stay at the Rus Villa!

Lovely family-run guesthouse just a 5-minute walk from the start of the Berat boulevard. Fantastic and very filling Albanian breakfast, lovely new room, great shower and very friendly and welcoming family. Would highly recommend!

The hosts were wonderful to us, they made us fell like home! We were welcomed by a nice young girl that spoke very good English! They gave us a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. We were supposed to leave the apartment in the next morning but they let us leave our car until the afternoon so we could explore the city! They had a small cat that was the nicest cat that we knew. The city is wonderful, we really enjoyed it and this was probably the best place that we have stayed in our experience throughout Albania. Thank you very much for everything

The welcoming nature of the host couple was evident immediately after ringing the bell upon arrival. They were willing to go out of their way to make us feel comfortable and safe. Both assisted with parking our vehicle inside the property and reversing out when we left. The breakfast spread was impressive including fresh fruits and vegetables from their garden set out on the terrace in good weather (inside when not so great). The room was spotless! The whole stay definitely exceeded our expectations.

The hosts were fantastic: you really feel like you're part of your family, especially with the super delicious breakfast. The location is stunning, inside the Berat Castle, and the value for money is exceptional.

The room is very clean and cozy, everything is new, neat, and done with care and soul. There is a table in front of the room where you can have breakfast overlooking the magnificent green mountains. The hosts are very kind and attentive and do everything to make our stay comfortable. The bathroom has a boiler so there is always hot water. The room has air conditioning, which allows you to heat or cool the room. It is also worth noting the sincere breakfast, which the hostess served us in the morning! It was clear that this is a home cooked with great soul and love! Despite the mistake on my side, the owners were very decent and did everything to make us feel good to live there! I recommend everyone to stay at least a couple of nights in this cozy town in this guest house!

The stay felt very homey and welcoming. Ardit and his family are excellent, warm hosts. It felt like you came as a guest and left as a friend. Highlights include: delicious breakfast with homemade bread and jam, proximity to all major sites within a 15-25 min walk, clean and tidy shared bathroom, tasting family made wine (delicious!), and great communication and advice—he helped with restaurant recommendations and hiking/running ideas. The terrace was quiet and lovely to watch the sunset and have a morning coffee. He parked my car and helped with luggage -which can be challenging to find a spot for all Berati stays- so I appreciated knowing it was in a good secure spot just a short walk away. The views and the terrace were delightful. A delightful Albanian homestay- I can’t wait to bring my husband back to experience such a warm welcome! I think I saved the best place for first :)
