Rooms and breaksfast very good for the price. Hotel hosts were accomodating. It clearly says the restaurant is closed, so no problem. I do not understand the bad reviews, so thats why I give it a 10, to offset the other reviews. We had a room with a nice balcony and view, and the bathroom was clean and renovated. The house itself is a bit older, but thats okay. other hotels in this location sometimes ask double the price for a room. We enjoyed our time and are visiting again.

The breakfast and dinner were excellent! The staff was very friendly and helpful with our wishes. We had such good chats with the owners. Such nice bedroom with a great view! The city is a cute town and the nature surrounding it is very beautiful and various. We travelled by bus and that worked great to reach the lakes near Lenzkirch.

The staff is exceptional, super friendly and helpful. The location is great, you can start hiking directly from the front door. Otherwise within a few minutes drive you can reach Titisee or Schluchsee and enjoy activities there. The room we were given (room #2) had the perfect setting for our family (2 rooms separated by a door, so we could stay awake a bit longer while our kids were sleeping in the other room). We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to come back.
