We stayed at La Terrace for one night. We arranged for airport pick-up for USD12 as we were arriving late. The driver dropped us off at the pier, we took the public ferry and the owner, Mohammed met us and helped us with our luggage to the hotel. Travel to the hotel was easy and not too much trouble. There are restaurants near the hotel as well which is quite convenient. Our rooms were clean, tidy and we had 3 large beds which were comfortable enough. Hair dryer was provided on request. There's also a terrace which you can sit at and enjoy the view of the Nile. The hotel met our expectations and is good value. We didn't have much time to explore the area, but we did go to a restaurant (King Jamaica) nearby which the owner recommended. Food was good as well. The real star is the owner. He was very responsive to our questions and helped us arrange for a car and driver to Abu Simbel and Luxor. He also recommended his contacts in Luxor and Cairo who helped us arrange a car, driver and guides for when we needed them. I would highly recommend arranging your travels in Egypt with Mohammed. We would have stayed for a second night if we could!

In my entire Egypt trip this was the best experience I had. Great hotel, great people and nice room with a beautiful view. Travelling to Egypt can be exhausting and intimidating with all the outside pressure from people. At the hotel I felt safe, and staff made me feel comfortable and peaceful whenever I stayed there. They always tried to help me when I had an issue and were very responsive at all time (even during the night or early morning). Very reliable, trust me you need this when you are in Egypt. The room was very clean and well equipped. Everything is new and nice. The view amazing. Downstairs there's a restaurant where you can eat good food at good prices, and you can smoke shisha too. I would totally recommend this place to everyone.

Boasting a patio with sea views, a garden and a bar, Nile View Guest House can be found in Aswan, close to Nubian Museum and 23 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace. The guest house has family rooms.

I stayed at Nile View Guest House for 5 nights in July 2023. The property was clean upon arrival. There is an air conditioner and a fan in the room, so you can use what you like. I felt very comfortable at the hotel. It is a family-run business, so you get the feeling of being around Egyptians who care about you. The food was lovely. I enjoyed the daily trip to the hotel, and the boat was driven by one of the family members. One feels safe around them. They are easy-going people, and they are kind and considerate. They messaged me few days before my arrival to help me arrange my trip and to check if I needed anything, and that was very helpful. They are very respectful of one’s privacy, and they are happy to help. The laundry service is available there for a very good price. I only paid around 130 Egyptian pounds (around 4$) to get many pieces cleaned. I am so grateful to the lovely family for my pleasant stay. I did not get any money to write this review, and I paid for my stay by using booking.com. Asil Ateeri

Everything was wonderful, I think I never had an experience this great. We were warmly welcomed, everything was very clean, very comfortable. The breakfast was always amazing and very flexible according to your own shedule. The host always helped us to fix a boat, or car to get to the sites we wanted to visit. She is an amazing woman, with an amazing place to stay at. We will definitely be coming back, and definitely be staying here again because other accomodations are not an optian. Truly this is one of the best experiences I had

Zolly was and excellent host, his hospitality was warm and welcoming and he couldn’t be more accommodating. The guest house it’s self is a nice spot over over views over the Nile and Aswan. Facilities are all up to scratch and the rooms well equipped. The guesthouse offers excellent value for money and you can put a price on the hospitality Zolly offers .

The host was amazingly friendly, even inviting us to his nieces engagement party while we were there and we got to experience some authentic Nubian food! The location is great, much quieter than staying on the east bank but also just a short and very cheap ferry ride over to the hustle and bustle. The room was nice and clean with a bathroom, ceiling fan, heaps of cupboard space, supplied towels and a really comfy bed. Would definitely reccomend!

We enjoyed a lot our stay in Abazido! The property is located on an island with very good connection to the city Center. It is at the quiet side of the island, looking over the botanical garden and the dessert. I think this is the best we can get while staying centrally. The room is very clean and well equipped. We loved spending our time on the rooftop, sunbathing and enjoying the magnificent river view. The host is very helpful and reliable. We highly recommend it!

Great location on Elephante meant lovely Nile views and roof top terrace which was excellent for both starting and ending the day. Mohammed is a wealth of information and a great host and made the stay very memorable. He was able to arrange cars for temple visits and a private ferry to get from island to mainland all very seamlessly and not a bit pushy. Highly recommend a stay at Meshra Katto.

The guesthouse is authentic, beautiful, newly painted with vibrant colours, and we had a really charming and clean room with aircondition and hairdryer. Adan was a nice host, and the food was good (we had breakfast and dinner). We enjoyed our stay.

David, the owner is an extraordinary man, he helps you with everything. Even if the location is somewhat far from the city center, minibuses run all the time at a ridiculously low price, 2.5 Egyptian pounds per trip, and nearby you can find good quality and cheap street food. Stay at David Hostel!

Very friendly host, guest house is on the west bank (village), but the owner brings you with his boat to the east bank (Aswan city) whenever you want. Good breakfast. Nice room and nice view from the garden where the breakfast is served. We really enjoyed the location in the small village instead of the buzzling city of Aswan. Price for the airport shuttle service is not the cheapest, but keep in mind that Careem and Uber are not servicing Aswan airport and the price for the driver is okay.
