The location is good as it’s directly in front of the the ferry and overlooks Nile river. The place is new and well-furnished. The owner “Ahmed” is really supportive and helped to arrange my activities. The bathroom is small but it’s clean and well-equipped

La habitación era nueva, grande, limpia y muy cómoda. El baño también era grande y tenía agua caliente. El lugar queda a menos de 5 minutos del ferry público (10 LE por persona). Sin duda, Tamer (host), resolverá todo lo que necesites: transporte, tour, comida, boletos de tren, etc. Siempre estuvo pendiente de que nos sintiéramos cómodos. Es un lugar familiar, donde puedes compartir con la familia de Tamer y los turistas que se estén hospedando, disfrutamos mucho conversando y jugando juegos de mesa. Gracias Tamer, sin duda volveremos.

We stayed at La Terrace for one night. We arranged for airport pick-up for USD12 as we were arriving late. The driver dropped us off at the pier, we took the public ferry and the owner, Mohammed met us and helped us with our luggage to the hotel. Travel to the hotel was easy and not too much trouble. There are restaurants near the hotel as well which is quite convenient. Our rooms were clean, tidy and we had 3 large beds which were comfortable enough. Hair dryer was provided on request. There's also a terrace which you can sit at and enjoy the view of the Nile. The hotel met our expectations and is good value. We didn't have much time to explore the area, but we did go to a restaurant (King Jamaica) nearby which the owner recommended. Food was good as well. The real star is the owner. He was very responsive to our questions and helped us arrange for a car and driver to Abu Simbel and Luxor. He also recommended his contacts in Luxor and Cairo who helped us arrange a car, driver and guides for when we needed them. I would highly recommend arranging your travels in Egypt with Mohammed. We would have stayed for a second night if we could!

In my entire Egypt trip this was the best experience I had. Great hotel, great people and nice room with a beautiful view. Travelling to Egypt can be exhausting and intimidating with all the outside pressure from people. At the hotel I felt safe, and staff made me feel comfortable and peaceful whenever I stayed there. They always tried to help me when I had an issue and were very responsive at all time (even during the night or early morning). Very reliable, trust me you need this when you are in Egypt. The room was very clean and well equipped. Everything is new and nice. The view amazing. Downstairs there's a restaurant where you can eat good food at good prices, and you can smoke shisha too. I would totally recommend this place to everyone.

I stayed at Nile View Guest House for 5 nights in July 2023. The property was clean upon arrival. There is an air conditioner and a fan in the room, so you can use what you like. I felt very comfortable at the hotel. It is a family-run business, so you get the feeling of being around Egyptians who care about you. The food was lovely. I enjoyed the daily trip to the hotel, and the boat was driven by one of the family members. One feels safe around them. They are easy-going people, and they are kind and considerate. They messaged me few days before my arrival to help me arrange my trip and to check if I needed anything, and that was very helpful. They are very respectful of one’s privacy, and they are happy to help. The laundry service is available there for a very good price. I only paid around 130 Egyptian pounds (around 4$) to get many pieces cleaned. I am so grateful to the lovely family for my pleasant stay. I did not get any money to write this review, and I paid for my stay by using booking.com. Asil Ateeri

Realmente nos sentimos muy cómodos en el hostel. Es para destacar la atención de Esra. Siempre pendiente de nosotros y si necesitábamos algo. Realizamos un tour a Abu simbel recomendado por ella a un buen precio y que nos solucionó bastante ya que teníamos poco tiempo. El día que viajamos al aeropuerto también nos reservo un ferry y un taxi para que lleguemos bien a horario. Recomiendo totalmente este lugar para pasar unos dias tranquilos y como en casa.

Thanks to the staff of the Kafana hotel for a great stay. I really liked the view from the hotel, the food, the cleanliness and design of the rooms. There is also a pleasant atmosphere of hospitality, they helped me with buying a ticket and a tour to Abu Simbel.
