It is a lovely oasis in a quiet neighbourhood, from which Bordeaux can be explored by foot of rental bike (e.g. Lime). Staying here was such a treat; even with 39 degrees C, indoor comfort was pleasant. The house is beautifully and sustainably decorated, with a green small terrace at the back, kitchen and living space that can be used by the guests. Inès was a perfect host, for nice chats, preparing healthy breakfast and giving advice on everything possible. I felt very much at home here and will certainly be back when in Bordeaux again.

The host Antone is amazing, he is reachable at any time and goes the extra mile to make sure everything about your stay is perfect. He designed the rooms himself and everything is of great quality and well thought out - it felt like you were staying in someone's perfect home. In our room the TV was huge and it was pre-logged in to Netflix, Disney +, and a few other subscriptions - I was actually able to watch a great movie while not at home! The minibar is stocked with all sorts of good stuff too.

All good. Nice room, facilities good, the location is a (very nice) short walk or tram ride from the old town. The bed was big and very comfy. Proprietor does not speak much English and I do not speak much French, but there was nothing to be explained that I couldn't figure out (so it's just something to be aware of).

Loved staying La Course, must be the most friendly and service oriented guesthouse I've been to. Wonderful breakfast and bikes for the guests to use. Too bad we stayed only for one night. Will definitely come back!
