This is an absolute gem. The location. The deck with the view, the private pool overlooking the Dordogne. We have two small dogs and needed to get their documents stamped for entry back to the UK. The vet in Madrid didn’t know what to do. I explained it to Jean-Charles (the owner) and he told me he would speak to his son. He came out of his way to ask exactly what we needed. He booked a local vet for us and the next morning everything was sorted. The grounds are nice and well kept. It’s close to St Emillion where we spent a day tasting the beautiful wines. We would definitely go back. Take fly spray to spray your room and some insect repellent so you can sit on the decking in the evening. If your up early enough the sunrise is spectacular.

Went above and beyond to make restaurant reservations, brought ice to our room when requested, volunteered to carry our luggage upstairs and explained the lights, etc in our room, etc etc.. very lovely couple and felt like we were friends by the time we left.
