This place is truly unique in its location and design. Situated in the very heart of trendy Panier district, it has a shady garden inside, with flowers, apricot trees, and several tables and chairs, as well as outdoor lights, so that one can enjoy it at any time of the day. The apartments are located in the former convent‘s grounds, built on top of the hill. If you are lucky, like us, you will get a room with the door leading to the garden AND a French window offering a view of Marseille from the height of the 5th floor! Being so high comes with its price - the taxi can’t bring you to the front door, but instead it will leave you at the Rue Caisserie. From there you (and your luggage) should manage a set of stairs which lead to the street where the house is located. So get ready for some challenge, but be sure it’s worth it ;) The interior of the room is quirky in its own way, creating a harmonious ensemble with the tranquil garden, old convent with its eleventh century bell tower and the whole artistic Panier district. The room was equipped with coffee and tea makers, cutlery and even a microwave, so one can have a meal in the room or, better outside in the beautiful garden. The hosts were immensely hospitable and made everything possible for us to feel at home. Needless to say, the Panier district is perfectly located to explore the city.

The place was like an oasis. Everything was well designed, functioned perfectly, and the host was superb. Easily one of the best places we've visited through booking.com. Please keep in mind that the location is super convenient to everything--but the view is of the normal city street. I recommend this place for couples or families up to 4. Clean, modern, comfortable!!
