This lovely large apartment is in an atmospheric, central part of town. The owners were kind and incredibly helpful, meeting us late at night and helping carry bags. They also provided a late checkout, which we very much appreciated.

We really enjoyed our stay at Olivia Guest House and consider it as a “value for money” place to stay. The apartment is in a very privileged location in the old town city center in a quiet place away from streets confusion, but within walking distance from restaurants and supermarket. The balcony view of the fortress and the old church is astonishing and literally travels you back in time. Clean and comfortable, with all necessary household amenities, fully equipped kitchen, fast and stable internet connection, fresh towels and washing machine for those who wish to refresh their clothes before jumping to the next Ionian island. The decoration was great with cozy corners around for the whole family! The kids were surprised and enjoyed playing with the toys basket and we were all excited with the welcome box with fruits, jam, and mountain tea! Really cosy, quiet, specious, equipped with everything you need (and what you even don’t think you need), fantastic sleeping rooms excellent kitchen and really cosy living room and terrace. Parking is big and you have bus nearby directly to city center. Nearby is shop working 365 days a year and butcher shop. The hosts are so friendly didn’t bother at all and even filled our fridge for first breakfast as sign of welcome.

Nikos was very accommodating and a super helpful host - 2 small beaches within walking distance: NAOK and Faliraki (not proper beaches but still has access to water and sun beds) - 10 minutes walk to Corfu City Bus stop - direct buses to Benitses, Ipsos and Dassia (all nice beaches. 30 mins by bus) - 15 minutes walk to central Green Bus station, to get buses to other areas (Paleokastritsa, Kassiopi, Sidari etc)

The vibe of the place and his hospitality really make you feel at home. The place has a great location as most things are within walking distance. The building is quiet as it has only a few rooms; the neighbourhood can be a little loud but overall I find it a great choice for backpackers.
